Somebody help me. I believe 26 UT players put their names in the portal this year and were there when it closed.

Did any of them fail to find a landing place with another program?

Scroll down to the transfer out section and it shows all the players and where they ended up.

Sorry if I missed it, but seeing that Nick Brooks went from us to Bama….. what really, I mean what was it that pushed him to transfer and end up with them?  I don’t know anything about their line, is he penciled in as a starter or was he signed on as a backup there where he would have had a shot to earn PT here.

They lost a lot in the portal and to the draft on their line...he probably has a better shot at tackle there this year than he would have had at Texas.

They lured him in and paid him well.

IMO it's the one young player Texas really didn't want to lose that they lost.

Appreciate ya Rocky. Makes sense then if he felt he had a better shot to play there or maybe got paid more.
