2026 Women's Softball Thread

Altimeyer (sp) was a portal pickup, but she’s nothing like what Jolie Mitchell brought (who was also a portal pickup).

Nichols had big shoes to fill replacing Scott and thus far hasn’t exactly been lighting it on fire from the plate.  Defensively she’s been fairly solid outside of a few lapses.

Pitching has been massively disappointing, to the point where I pretty much concede game 2 to the other team and hope Kavan can win 2/3 every weekend.

Ejection....since it was his 2nd ejection of the season, he will miss tomorrow's game

Ejection because of 2 offensive timeouts in same half ending one by him and one by player. He didn’t argue the ejection decision.

Because Atwood was on deck I think, the switch in the lineup helps Katie out a lot.  Basically have to pick your poison.
