This is true and next weekend will be a tough series against a good Arkansas team. A&M has Oklahoma. 1 1 Quote

HookemTexas Posted May 1 Posted May 1 The offense this year has really been feast or famine. They'll get shut out or run rule the other team. Very inconsistent. 2 Quote

Cozer Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Big letdown this series. Had the double by in reach and let Woo Pig take it over. Quote
LonghornFan4Ever Posted May 2 Author Posted May 2 Hannah Wells is gonna be a star in college softball and Texas has her for three more seasons Quote
HonkEm Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Texas is a top-four seed ... a major advantage We have the talent to make a run, but the second half of the season showed why we are not the safest pick. The pitching depth behind Kavan hasn’t been consistent, the defense has been shaky, and the offense disappears too often against top‑tier arms. In a league as deep as the SEC, those issues get exposed fast. We can win it, but they’ll need to play cleaner softball than they have in months. 1 Quote
HookemTexas Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Just like last year, everything needs to click at the right time. They top tier talent, but it's not the most elite. OU is better at hitting and Tennessee and Texas Tech both boast better pitching staffs. 1 Quote
GoHorns1 Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Too inconsistent in overall play, 3 shutouts in the month of April. Maybe a short post season unfortunately. 1 Quote
