Freshman OT John Turntine III played at around 272-274 pounds all season for North Crowley as a senior.

OnTexasFootball can report that the freshman early enrollee is already up to 283-285 pounds, and is expected to hit around 295 by August.

As long as he's adding the weight in his ass and not his gut.

I really like taking a nimble but physical OT like Turntine and stacking weight on him. If he can remain patient off and nasty on the field, he has a chance to shine.

Hope he outplays Siani and takes the RT position. That would be an epic move

Wishful thinking and not sure I understand the logic. Siani is not sitting the bench with that price tag

Logic is that he is elite and beating out someone, even with that price tag means we got a * for the next few years.  Sark gonna put the best out there this year, price tag be damned.

How many spicy chicken sandwich combos from JCL is that?

I found out recently they don’t really go there anymore. I LIVED on the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes after a hard practice or for a late night snack. They don’t know what they’re missing!

Said before, but i really believe seeing him a lot over the last 2-3 years ... he will play at 305-310 for the majority of his career.

That's OK as long as he's a strong boy, right?

Is he gonna start off at LT?

tackle yes. Will very likely cross train at both (most guys have at Texas outside Kelvin Banks who pretty much had to be the starting LT as a true freshman and they had to get him ready in weeks)
