    Aggy friend analysis on if these are big losses: "No, they aren’t. The WR room is deep and Myles was buried. OL room is also deep. The one loss that hurts is Sims. I expected him in the starting rotation at interior defense Riden also stinks because we need a bruiser back. Our backs are fast but small. But Riden isn’t a starter Sims is a starter."

    Not good and I had this in the back of my mind about how he might be feeling. If you deserve to start you should deserve to start. Nothing should be a given. This is why I believe Mack failed so frequently early on. He gave priority to favorites and tenured players. And I say that wishing he'll stay because he has played so well and still has so much upside.

    Even if you want to give the other side a deadline to respond or support, that timeline is ridiculous! They've been revising it as they go along. It's been a moving target. Maybe more importantly, what is the leverage for the threat? The Big 10 and SEC don't support, they threaten to pass it?! They support and it passes. OK!

    I actually appreciate some of the clarification of facts and can't say I would handle the situation differently with my own son (I have daughters). But this isn't "new". He knew the rules and risks and he wants a different punishment. What if the NCAA comes back and says OK the punishment was too much. He can only play in half the games. Or can't participate in the post-season (a common punishment for team violations). Are we good or is everyone forced to follow the "whatever the court says" in these future scenarios? Nobody is saying that we don't want this person to get treatment and be better but this ruling essentially says the NCAA has zero authority to enforce their own rules.

    This is super odd. I am not shocked that the court issued the injunction due to irreparable harm which was always a possibility whether you agree with it or not, but then the court appears to be "standing in" for the NCAA and rules on how the punishment should be assessed. This is quite different from saying the NCAA doesn't have the authority to do something (like regulating paying players because it violates other laws).

    Did you see those 6th and 7th inning stats from here appearances at WCWS they flashed on the screen? It was even before we started the last inning she had recorded 25 Ks and 1 BB during that time span!!!
