When we really want it, we can bring in the end of game pitching to shut the door.  It’s a balance mid week between getting all the talented young pitchers some experience, tinkering with the roles, and then getting the wins when we need them.  Think we were a little tired of Texas State coming into our house and winning .

It is really disappointing to see all the negative Nancy posts when a miracle does not appear on the first play of the game.

I haven't heard anything. I understood the logic of opening with Grubbs, but would have expected Flores over Walls and Walker.

Hopefully we have a couple runrule-type games in Columbia and he can get a good inning or two under his belt.
