Moderators Jeff Howe Posted April 6 Moderators Posted April 6 The SEC goes one year without a football or men's basketball national championship and the league is crumbling. If that's enough of a reach, leave it to our friends in College Station to once again take the opportunity to blame Texas (I love the "conference pride" comment, BTW. As if the Aggies have contributed to the SEC's success for generations). 2 10 Quote

FootLaw Posted April 7 Posted April 7 I'm sure the NIL era and more parity has nothing to do with anything at all... Quote
MBHORNSFAN Posted April 7 Posted April 7 I could careless about the SEC or any team not named Texas. I actually root against all of them . Conference pride is for loser. 3 Quote
Alex Butler Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Just falling apart. It’s all Texas’ fault clearly because we, unlike lil bro have already significantly contributed to the success of the conference winning national championships in Olympic sports and competing at a high level in the big 3. The big 10 is a joke outside of OSU, UM, and now IU. I seem to recall an SEC team winning the natty in basketball last year… Quote
LovingBuckeye Posted April 7 Posted April 7 (edited) Fans will overreact to anything on social media. They shouldn't be taken seriously. In reality, the SEC will still dominate baseball, softball, and women's basketball. The parity in CFB and men's basketball is here to stay though. Edited April 7 by LovingBuckeye Quote

TrouperG Posted April 8 Posted April 8 I love the USAID comment. I have a certain set of skills, skills that I can't always talk about, skills developed in a very select, specialized, government job. People don't realize that when USAID pays a few million dollars to put on a drag show in Mozambique, it's not actually spending that money on that thing. It's a slush fund for the CIA and various diplomatic functions as well as the AID part. Trying to avoid politics here but the more you know, you know. Quote

chennups Posted April 9 Posted April 9 Big 10 won men’s soccer (uw) and women’s field hockey (northwestern) as well in the Fall. At least aggy won women’s volleyball or that would have been a near sweep in the Fall sports (fsu won women soccer and cross country went to ok st men’s and nc state women’s). UCLA men won water polo too. Gotta give credit where it’s due. Quote
