Texas wrapped up summer workouts Friday with a full game scrimmage. Two 20 minute halves, refs and coaches on both sides.  Matas led all scorers with 28.  Punch had an impressive all-around

Right now ... starting 5 is Johnson, Mikey, Freeman, Punch and Matas

But ... Goosby will compete with Mikey now that he's back on the floor, and Evans is giving Freeman a run. 

Depth is the strength of this team

Texas may have the ability to do that down the line ... against a Florida. Or certain matchup, but it's still a dice roll 

There are issues with that lineup. Spacing and perimeter ability would be rough. Matas would have about zero room to work lane to lane in that lineup. Texas has to space the floor to maximize Matas when he's in the game

Mikey gives them a proven perimeter shooter to go with Johnson.

Was told this morning … not to expect Spears, Punch and Matas in a starting lineup 

that’s more something Texas could do against a particular team/matchup for a stretch 

but not expected to be a go to lineup … at least not at this point

The most universally overrated team is Arizona. Their backcourt is taking a big step back, and they don't have an eligible starting 4 at this point. They're not even a top ten team. It's just lazy nonsense.
