BTW...Freshman year at Texas. Stonewalling aggy on two point conversion at home to win the game and conference on game ending play, "Shock the Nation" tour 1990. We stormed the field after it ended.

Not new but: my grandpa took me to the 91 cotton bowl. Miami beat the brakes off of us.  He owned the feed store and fertilizer distributorship in our east Texas town.  By all accounts we should be Aggies and most of his customers were full blown Ags.  
When our guys ran out of the tunnel in the cotton bowl, he looked at me and said,” Don’t get better than this.”

 

I was hooked  then and there then got both my undergrad and grad degree from McCombs.  I Miss him everyday and glad he took me to that game.

I am pretty sure I was at that game. If I remember correctly, Rice arm side DE got the edge, popped Vince in the chest, VY slapped his head into the dirt after taking 2 steps back and took off for Positive yardage.  But sometimes I mix my VY folklore.
