Shocking. Sad. Used to play with the M&Ms car diecast when I was little. One of my favorite drivers of all time. Really random and outta the blue too.

11 days ago he pulled out of Watkins Glenn asking for a doctor. He then came down with some unknown illness and they subbed in another driver for him. Now he’s gone 😢

Read in comment section of initial report that he had an untreated sinus infection and maybe the elevation changes at Watkins Glen drove the infection into the brain.  Who knows though....comment sections can be a den of lies.....but sounds possible.
