HookemHorns87 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago This Offense was so terrible and anemic vs Georgia makes you want to throw up 😡😡😡😡 where the heck was the offense that thumped Bama!!! Heck OU didn't struggle to hit off Georgia 🙄 Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted 2 hours ago Author Moderators Posted 2 hours ago On challenging the play at the plate and the tag-up, Schloss said the tag-up wasn't initially reviewable. Schloss isn't even sure how he ended up with another review, but the crew took a look at it. "Thankfully," he said, "we got to challenge three times." Quote

tmataya Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago These Georgia games were so damn frustrating. Our pitching shut them down. The first gene was horrible stumbles. Tinney with the two 3rd strikes throws geez. Players running into each other. Just sloppy. So disappointing but the season was a success getting to Omaha. At least we shut down their superstar catcher. Just hurts because I really think if we beat GA this thing was winnable. 1 1 Quote
SuperDave0805 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Was just a bad matchup, For whatever reason every Georgia pitcher turned into Satchel paige against us, Do believe Texas needs more hitters who can make contact and put the ball in play. With Volantis, Cozart, And several good looking freshman the pitching next year should be very good and Pack and A Rod give us a good hitting nucleus, Just to to win some portal battles and sign another strong high school class and a return to Omaha is certainly possible 3 Quote
.45s Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Well, at least they won one game. The last couple of times we have come it has been 2 and barbecue. Pitching may be a bit better next year and let's hope the roster is a better hitting roster next year with a bit more overall power and more guys who can hit 300 and not below 250. 1 Quote
Dawson Yarbrough Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Obviously it was a disappointing end, but we saw growth and improvement in year two. We got to root for the Horns in the CWS. I’m excited about next year. Big offseason coming up. 1 Quote

Yeah, it was better in some respects this year and Schloss stated several times early on that it still needs to build up more to get where he wants to be. Quote
HornsInAmarillo Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I said it days ago, and I’ll say it again. Tinney should not have been playing. Quote

The guy who hit .325 with 22 bombs shouldn’t have been playing? Yeah, you were certainly the only person saying that. Quote
