Was told by a source on Monday that Texas is still actively recruiting Ohio State DE commit DJ Jacobs. 

Curious to see if efforts ramp up with Jacobs after Fakatou (also a big DE/EDGE target) committed to OSU today. 

Jacobs did not take an official visit to Austin this summer, so it's possible he could take an in-season look at Texas. 

He was last on campus for the Texas-Texas A&M game in November.

When WR coach left it was big help for us in WR recruiting.  But L Johnson is just hard to beat as a recruiter and skins on the wall.  Once he’s gone that will change.

Getting Hero from OSU was an even bigger win because he had already been at OSU for 3 years and still flipped to us even though OSU still wanted him.

I have a friend who is quite often right about these things, when he says them. But he says the DL Brewster will land at Texas when all is said and done. He's connected, but I have no idea how. He won't say.
