ThatHornsGuy87 Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Never draft an OSU qb.. at least they were smart enough to grab Will Anderson the next pick. I really hope they don't sign Stroud to some ridiculous contract Quote
Hookem72 Posted July 29 Posted July 29 At least Clemson QBs know how to take care of soft tissue trauma. 1 Quote

FforFake Posted July 29 Posted July 29 I hope Stroud's mom remembered to pack lunch for his first day of school. Quote

Inexcusably bad... but he was solid in the regular season as a whole even if there were ups and downs. I'm glad they're waiting on an extension, and he has a ton to prove this year, but with an improved O Line, improved RB room, and a WR room with more experience... It should only get better this year. He is still an average to slightly above average QB even with the lows we've seen. Quote
jkates Posted July 29 Posted July 29 He looks ready for some D-level tournament softball. Just needs a towel hanging out of his back pocket. Quote
akhookem Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Davis Mills would have brought the Texans to the Super Bowl last season 1 Quote
Neil Leininger Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Yeah, his most important season in the pro football career and you come to camp looking like you ate Blue Bell all off-season. 1 Quote

All he had to do was just be average and not pee down his leg and they win the superbowl. The defense was that good last year Quote

He could very easily still play like a borderline top 10 QB this year. Quote
mmdaytontexas Posted July 29 Posted July 29 0 Houston had arguably the worst OL in the NFL. I think CJ is a lot better than he is being given credit for. What he's not is a creative off-schedule type QB, like Josh Allen, Caleb Williams, or Patrick Mahomes. I think he could be because he can run and throws well on the run, he just prefers not to do it, or has been told not to do it Quote

817 Boxing B Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Expectations always seem to be higher for certain QB's, which is quite interesting to me. Controversy only seems to follow certain QB's, which is also quite interesting to me. Rumors always seem to surround certain QB's, which again, also seems interesting to me. Not surprised, in this climate, there's excitement about the "humble" haircut. Just know.. the cheers are never real for the name on the back, just the one on the front. You're property... nothing new. Quote
