The positive is I didn’t log on to OTF this morning until I saw the ESPN alert on my phone:

The negative is I had to scroll through 12 pages of experts arguing over sh!t they know nothing about.

My wife is a rheumatologist and she said he just needs a few IV’s to prevent arthritis.  😂

Idk why people here get so upset about speculation. Like wtf do you think we gonna do?

Not a doctor but all we heard was the bruise so would think anything tissue/ligament is ok.

Hank, everyone on this board is a Doctor (among other things). Wild speculation is not only tolerated, it’s highly encouraged.

It isn’t the speculation; it’s people presenting things as facts that are clearly not facts.
For example:   You can’t walk on a torn ACL.

Also, I’m not upset.  Logging on late saved me a lot of heart ache today.

Yea that’s true, but people are gonna post stuff like that on a community board. I’m glad you didn’t have to go through the anxiety like the rest of us though lol.

Have the cliff divers from this morning survived?  So glad to hear the rumors of his legs falling off being fake.  WHO WOULD SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT????

I never tore my ACL but I did tear my meniscus, pretty much the same injury Derrick Rose had. I missed two games. I ended up getting it wrapped and wearing a knee brace and finished my senior year of football, after practice it was shock treatment and ice baths, then the same Saturdays after games. Two weeks after the season I had surgery and was cleared to run track in the spring. I actually healed and came back faster and more explosive. I joked I should have torn it my freshman year maybe I would have played at somebody's college😂

Meniscus and ACL are very different injuries. Meniscus has a ton of blood flow and will heal much quicker. That’s irrelevant now though luckily.

Done this in both knees skiing.  Doc said worst one he had seen without a tear.  Told me it stretched to its limit and then snaps back thus the bones crash and bruise.     I took about 3 weeks with no pain at all walking and another month before could actively exercise again.  Was told I could do it if I could tolerate it after the pain went away.   It was so bad I couldn’t lift my legs the next day from the internal swelling. Complete guess is he is out 4 weeks at least but hoping it’s minor.  Ohio state will be unlikely unless he just decided to go.  But who knows how fast he heals.  Maybe they can get a witch doctor to come get that pain out and stabilize the ligament. He is lucky!   Love the Goosby family!
