Knowing what we know about Goosby's status... non-contact knee injury, left the field, walked off on his own, awaiting MRI...

Would you rather:

a) Take your chances, let the diagnosis play out as it will, see where he's at and how many games he'll miss.
b) Take a deal right now where he's guaranteed to miss the entire regular season, but also guaranteed to be 100% for playoffs if Texas makes it.

It's really got nothing to do with an actual bet. 

Just a roundabout way of gauging a) level of optimism around Goosby's injury at this time, and b) confidence Texas can get to the CFP if he's out longer term.

The kids are not having fun. Noted. We will not come back to the petting zoo.

Read mild to moderate bone bruises may heal in 4-8 weeks. Severe may be 3-6 months to fully heal.

Heard 4-6 weeks may be the Goosby timeline.
