smokeyiii Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 26-24 Ohio State - I think the rosters are pretty even but I trust the OSU coaching staff more until proven otherwise 1 Quote
Dread-headed Texan Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Silly question, of all of the people watching this thread, how many actually sat down and watched Ball State v Ohio State? No shame if you didn't and only watched the highlights, box score and listened to OSU podcasts and "insiders", let's be honest I didn't watch it until just now. If you haven't I really encourage you to do so. Quote

Sounds like we are headed for 7-5 or 8-4 then. I didn't say any of that. If you're going to knock off one of the consistently top 2 rosters in CFB and be more than just a CFP participant like Tech or JMU, these margins matter. I don't feel like we did enough to narrow them. Would love to be proven wrong. Maybe I'm right on the above and Arch pulls a superhero game and his legs take over so it doesn't matter and we're in a one score push game. We'll see. No reason to get in a fit over it. Quote

IMO in the new NIL era the talent gap is closer now more than ever. 7-8 top teams are within 3 points of each other either way.... Quote
Ryan Clement Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 28-21 OSU have to see texas beat day or smart before I pick against them. Hope im way wrong. Quote

Indiana just won it all with a roster that wasn’t considered a top 10 roster going into last season. Brooks Austin (The Film Guy) said it best: does Sark need the Dallas Cowboys roster to win it all? How can you make any conclusions based on we have only paled 4 quarters of football this season? And not that rankings mean anything but the 247 team talent composite has Texas as the #2 roster in CFB.... Quote

I purposely didn't give my.oponion because I don't want to put something in your head that isn't there. However, if you're a fan of offensive line play, because apparently everyone here is an o-line coach you'll see it. I'm not just talking missed assignments, those are easily corrected, I'm talking technique and cohesion. You'll see it right away. Quote

Bunk Moreland Posted 58 minutes ago Posted 58 minutes ago I’m going out on a limb. 38-23 Texas. I think Texas will have an excellent plan to neutralize the OSU DL, and we are very good at pass pro. OSU is talented on D but they lost a LOT of elite playmakers. I think we are going to swamp them with our explosiveness. And on the other side, I think we are going to blow up their weak OL and have Sayin seeing ghosts. This is the game when Sark finally breaks through and flexes on the whole country. 2 Quote
