As much as I hate it when or if Texas loses the big game they schedule out of conference I hope they never stop. Those In the smaller games cracks form underneath the surface and get exposed in the bigger ones. After watching Miami last night no way did you come away thinking that's one of the best teams in college. They may be efficient on offense, but you can't say what they put on film defensively they'd be able to hold a UGA or Texas out of the end zone. They're going to win their conference, but it's going to be tough for them to stop top teams and offenses. Not as of now at least, they have some work to do and a lot of it.

Can't lose players the level of CB OJ Frederique (top 3 round pick) and DT Ahmad Moten (late 1st/2nd round) and survive much IMO

Yeah especially if your depth isn't any good. Losing top guys like that is going to hurt.

Miami is like Atlanta, it's not a serious sports city. They support when the team is good and when they're bad they just don't show up. There's money in Miami, but it ain't money like here in Texas or Ohio. They'll get top line talent, but not much behind it.

NC State @ Vanderbilt - Jared Curtis making his first start in college.  5-star QB from backyard Nashville, Tennessee.

Mississippi State @ South Carolina - Kamario Taylor vs LaNorris Sellers.  ‘Nuff said.  Plus there’s a chance to scout what playing Mississippi State will be like for Texas.

No-Crystal-Ball is also good for one coaching blunder per year? Last year was a bit of an exception.  Miami fans are always on edge that he might have a 2023 run the ball instead of kneeling the clock against GT-level mistake.

Went to a game with in Fayetteville with a high school friend when I was at UT. I was told not to wear UT gear to the game and we parked my truck in his garage so it wouldn’t be vandalized. 
Tony Jones caught the game winner in the end zone I was sitting in. The place went silent, except for me. 
Strange to see the lack of support there because they have always been fanatical fans. Weird stuff.
