Buddy if that was average then is bad us taking a safety or a pick 6 every offensive snap?! This is a team whose OC is the HC in year 6! Outside of 2 drives there was NOTHING efficient or good about it.

Yes, having your top running back out makes your run game tough. And you say nothing because your football IQ is underground

I'm so confused by this. we are thrilled by being 4-0. But good God almighty with have major issues with a 50/50 brain dead QB, receivers that forget how to catch , line that looks pedestrian at best and a phenomenal defensive guy that like to whip his imaginary d*ck out and pee on people. Oh my God the head coach/offensive coordinator is lost in his own mind 75% of the time

Go watch old games of Charlie Strong. You will feel better. Look I get we have issues but this is still way more fun than losing to TCU 50-7 or whatever.

The offense was average. We didn’t need them to be good. Just efficient. Which is exactly what we did whenever we are down our best running back, down our best WR, for almost an entire half, and playing a Jim Knowles defense

which prior to today, we had scored 7 points and 14 points on Jim Knowles defenses

26 is our team high against any team That has run a 3 high safety look and that was Iowa state in 2023 when we won the big 12.

in about 1.5 years I will be doing the magic mushrooms or gummies to reach your level of bullsh*it delusion

This offense as of September 26th is not good. Doesn’t mean it won’t be good, doesn’t mean Texas can’t win a bunch of games.

It’s not either/or. Right now like we can be happy to be 4-0 and know there has to be improvement or the 1 is coming soon.

I second this take.

WE ARE BETTER TTHAN THAT . With the money we have throwing around Christ on the cross we should not look that inept

Great article, Jeff. Thank you. The talent this team has and the upside they show to be inept so frequently is frustrating but to still be 4-0 entering a bye week before a matchup with a seemingly even more inept offense at OU is truly amazing. I'm disgustedly happy. 🤘

Sark brought Texas back from years of mediocrity and that’s great, but he needs to adapt and realize he is just not the same caliber of play caller like he was at bama. Our offenses loaded with talent have mainly been underwhelming, and I’ve seen plenty of sec offenses with half the talent perform and execute at much higher levels. This can’t go on, he needs to just drop the ego and hire an OC. Also he need to stop cutting slack to his bama buddies and demand much higher standards.

look, I am not trying to get in an innerweb fight or pissing match , but damn that game offensively was laughable and comically bad

I honestly think everyone is just very emotional. There’s a lot of bad stuff on offense right now. A lot of undisciplined football. We are all on the same side. 🤘🏼 gotta get better.

Being at the game something I could not fathom is the number of plays that cam is just not on the field.

He got banged up (I think on the INT) and it looked like they were screening for possible concussion.

Bishop played well in his place

I’ll hop in to defend CJ here. If he was on here and X always spitting out what the coaches say we’d be upset he was just toeing the company line. The offense is nothing like what we were told we had or thought we had, especially for the $$$$ we spent. But CJ didn’t say anything terrible- the offense, outside of the 4thQ of the OSU game, has been poor.

Who else’s “ignore user” list is growing today?

I have no understanding of this. Why would you want an echo chamber? You don't have to die by it but it's nice to read diverse positions

CJ is great. I’d rather him be honest than a sunshine pumper.

I rarely ignore people on here but there is a line between angry and crybaby stuff. I think you’re justifiably angry. There are a few on here that I have just laughed at because it’s whine city.

So the RB’s getting met at the exchange by defenders had nothing to do with the performance? The offense as a whole was bad today. Sloppy. Lethargic even. They’ve looked that way for the majority of 4 games now. They show flashes, but never consistently good.

I want the best for Texas and I want to hold themselves at a high standard. I want to play the game with passion and execution, if we lose, we lose. BUT watching mediocrity play and have my heart and liver stressed like this drives me crazy. Texas should not have players grabbing their junk and smelling it after a TD, they shouldn't have players whipping out their imaginary d*ick and peeing on a player and they shouldn't have so many highly paid receivers drop balls. Don't get me to even start on the QB that throws over the line of scrimmage 3 times in the last 2 game s. SMH

At this point I don't know if we can beat Ole Miss, LSU, or Florida with this offense.

That is a personal shortcoming!  Live with it or learn more football.
