The penalties for unsportsmanlike conduct are adequate and should be enough to regulate the game and to discourage any repeat performance.

Seen as a part of an undisciplined whole it is a much bigger issue.

I think we all know that.  Surely the coaches know it.

The harm it caused the team should be enough to make Colin realize the problem. Even so, Sark and the staff must get these kids to realize that they must dial it back and think about what they're doing. The lack of discipline during the entire game was inexcusable.

This is a massive overreaction. He made a stupid decision after a big play. He just needs to do better as a leader on the team, he apologized and hopefully won't do it again.

Some of yall are embarrassing. Have some boundaries, dignity, and basic respect. If not for yourself, how about for the school?

It isn’t a singular action. It’s a mentality. He does stupid things. He bumps people, he has to do some dumb celebration after doing basic plays that he’s overpaid to do, and shows zero conviction in his apology.

He says wants to be a leader. Well, he is and it shows by giving brown the green light to do something equally stupid. Millions of views of this in a Texas uniform and people here want to downplay it? Millions. Hey, he gets sacks so eff class, amirite?

Hot take but Colin Simmons' celebration shows he is ready to ascend to another level of greatness. A lot of the greats have been a wildcard. Antonio Brown, Gronk, Marshawn Lynch, Ocho Cinco, Ricky Williams, etc. 

But in all seriousness, give the kid a break. It was a VERY dumb decision. He needs to keep the swagger but show it in more appropriate and family friendly ways.
