Folks whatever we say matters zero. It is a done deal  without a doubt. Just tieing up loose ends, and next season 24 it is. So with this being the last SEC Championship game, hopefully we get a shot again. To make up for the fiasco 2 years ago👍

Same.  I know a lot of people don’t care about conference championship games or winning conference titles (just make the CFP, right), but it would be cool for Texas to get to and win the last ever SEC Championship Game over Georgia.  Would be so fitting.  At least you have some team hardware to show for the Manning era if you don’t win a natty.  Of course, that seems like a tall task at the moment.

Yeah miss me with this. If it gets passed, it will kill my enjoyment of College Football. I'll still watch Texas football but I won't really care about CFB much anymore. Leave 24 team playoffs in the FCS. It's just pure greed.

Odd. If this makes you not watch you are probably about done anyways for whatever reason.

It's hilarious when people say they won't watch or follow CFB anymore when playoffs expand to 24. I heard the same thing ever portal and NIL. Stadiums are full and tv viewershipare at all time highs. LOL

Not really, I still watch a lot of CFB but I guess you'd know more about me than I do, I guess.

So you are gonna quit watching just because the playoffs are going to 24 teams?   OK. Cool.

Exactly.  The early rounds are basically a bowl game that means something.  More meaningful games, the better.

I would say requiring teams to play 10 (or even 11) "Power 4" games is all for show. Let's be honest, ACC, Big 12 and Big 10 have about 10 decent teams combined. Playing Purdue, Colorado, etc. is not actually much easier than Boise, Tulane, Oklahoma State, etc.

The power 4 is simply an illusion. I'd take 3 or 4 AAC teams over about half of the Big 12 and ACC at this point.
