Roy Hinojosa Posted 53 minutes ago Posted 53 minutes ago (edited) The stars were in alignment, but then Ewers left for the NFL prematurely and cost him big by being drafted in the 7th round. Ewers should have come back another year, but it was "Arch's time." Would Ewers have beaten Ohio State on the road last year? I would give it a high probability we would have with him under center. We could have given Arch more wrinkles in some packages like maybe having home throw instead of run on every play, but nope. Now we have wasted two five star quarterbacks and I don't see a way out where it's not embarrassing the rest of the way. Edited 50 minutes ago by Roy Hinojosa Quote

HookemChappy Posted 49 minutes ago Posted 49 minutes ago Based on the prep conference, it looks like Sark evaluated Everything and decided that no changes needed. Just play the game like we practice. Let’s see how that works. Insanity. Quote
4thandFive Posted 48 minutes ago Posted 48 minutes ago The presser is only cementing what we’re afraid of- Sark is going to stick with Arch until it’s far too late to save the season. Quote

Sark was the HC/OC from 2022-2024 when our offense averaged Top 20 in the nation. There was a major change in 2025-2026 and it was QB. Same HC/OC who certainly has his own issues. However, his issues didn’t cause this fall off. Neither did the LG position. Quote
TexasLonghorns Posted 42 minutes ago Posted 42 minutes ago So after all the evaluations, the conclusion is no changes and business as usual? 😂 Sark sees the iceberg, refuses to turn the wheel, and is determined to go down with the ship. At least he’s consistent. 1 Quote

I agree that Arch has been a problem for sark but we had a whole lot better run game and a wr that blew past defenders in the deep game. Quote

Holy Cow Posted 2 minutes ago Posted 2 minutes ago 2 hours ago, LonghornLegends said: Honestly if they’re splitting reps and it’s even close you have to put in KJ. Arch should be light years ahead of KJ and if he is not he needs to play. I think this would be a slam dunk if Manning was the name on the jersey. Quote

Crusher Crew Posted just now Posted just now I would love to see some tinkering at the OL. Didn't Flood start Neto last year for a half then took him out and we never saw him again? Did the same thing with Seymore this year, even though he was battling an injury. I would be curious to see if Sekorski could play center and we move Cajoe to LG or RG and take out Robertson for now. Get some more bulk. Install a wildcat formation with Michael Terry. Hell, we did it with Savion Redd. Couldn't hurt because Terry is a higher caliber athlete. I would also see about running more unbalanced lines and making an OL a TE on some plays like we did with Obgo. We are at critical mass here and need to be aggressive and creative as possible. Quote
