Hornio Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I don't know if he'll start against Ole Miss or replace Arch in the 1st half, but everything will suddenly improve dramatically once he's in. The o-line and running game will be instantly better. We will all realize the receivers have been open all year. The defense won't be on the field all 2nd half. Get ready 1 Quote
Sarkanator Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Disagree. Sark is still the play caller. He’ll have one or two good drives a game and look lost for the rest of it 4 Quote

syracusehorn Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Bishop and Cooper have to play too. We seem to be the only program that routinely shelves its best players if they're freshmen. 1 Quote

Look at what happened in 2001 when we played DJ and CedB we lost in the big 12 championship after our “starting” QB threw multiple interceptions and was almost rescued by the “back up” if not for a special teams gaffe…man that sounds like a familiar script! 4thandFive Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago COMPLETELY agree on Cooper & Bishop. I personally would like to know what we have with a different QB, G\C/G, and more Cooper & Bishop. Our defense doesn’t need much help. Just a break. 1 Quote
hookemrj13 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago NOTHING CHANGES UNTIL THE OL DOES. This is not rocket science; its football. We can not consistently block clean enough up front. IDC if you put prime Peyton Manning at qb. If the OL is not solidified nothing else changes, and if you think that Sark doesnt trust Arch to make pre snap adjustments/protection calls...what in the **** makes you think that KJ has that luxury in Sark's offense??!! its: OL Arch Sark in that order. 1 Quote

The oline is NOT the problem. It's a byproduct of the QB being terrible. If the QB doesn't release the ball, the defense can put more in the box, they can turn their ears back on more plays - no oline is going to sustain rush defenders in the SEC for more than 2.5-3 seconds. Ours is doing that. Once we get just average QB play, all this talk about the oline and running backs will be gone Quote
NothinButDaHorns34 Posted 50 minutes ago Posted 50 minutes ago Doubt it! The main culprit here is sark’s play calling Quote
TexShoe Posted 44 minutes ago Posted 44 minutes ago Absolutely!! I also expect to lose about 15 lbs. and gain muscle mass with this QB change. With some luck, i might even gain a couple inches downstairs. 2 Quote
