Given how this team has played so far, I see a lot of people overlooking Mississippi State. I know they don't have KT, but that doesn't mean they are a UTSA level game automatically.

They didn't have Kamario Taylor last year either and we need an insane miracle to survive that game. I would love for Saturday to be a day where a ton of guys play and starters get some much needed rest, but if the team is overlooking Mississippi State as much as the fans are, that won't happen.

By losing two games that you shouldn't have, the team can't afford to overlook anyone the rest of the year.

They moved the ball on OU D. Over looking anyone is a loss. We need to be ready to play rest of year and still could easily lose.

No doubt. and imagine this game if Texas had to go to Starkville and play against the cowbells on Halloween!

Lol we are not on the team.

We all know this team could crap the bed and lose to anyone. And if we go down to MSU at home we just need to fire Sark and move on

I agree.

What was the line against OU and Florida? It is definitely the second easiest game left...OU and Florida were the third and fourth easiest. I don't think we will lose (if we do, see ya to lotsss of people being paid a lot of money to play for and coach this team), but I could definitely see a path where the starters have to play too long.

Night game helps, the guys looked uninterested during the Florida game, even in the first quarter it looked like they expected to win by 50 and were just going through the motions.

Mississippi State does not have a side of the football as formidable as Oklahoma's defense, nor do they have the quantity of trench/skill talent as Florida.

If Texas spots them 14 points, i guess anything can happen.

MSST and Lebby will likely deploy a similar gameplan as the 2024 game where they held onto the football for about 21 of the 30 minutes in the 1st half. Shortening the game and minimizing possessions is their best bet
