AustinsTruth Posted yesterday at 09:07 PM Posted yesterday at 09:07 PM (edited) Given how this team has played so far, I see a lot of people overlooking Mississippi State. I know they don't have KT, but that doesn't mean they are a UTSA level game automatically. They didn't have Kamario Taylor last year either and we need an insane miracle to survive that game. I would love for Saturday to be a day where a ton of guys play and starters get some much needed rest, but if the team is overlooking Mississippi State as much as the fans are, that won't happen. By losing two games that you shouldn't have, the team can't afford to overlook anyone the rest of the year. Edited yesterday at 09:08 PM by AustinsTruth 4 Quote

Over looking anyone is a loss. We need to be ready to play rest of year and still could easily lose.  1 Quote

4thandFive Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Texas is favored for a reason. This should be the second easiest game we have left. Quote

It is definitely the second easiest game left...OU and Florida were the third and fourth easiest. I don't think we will lose (if we do, see ya to lotsss of people being paid a lot of money to play for and coach this team), but I could definitely see a path where the starters have to play too long. Night game helps, the guys looked uninterested during the Florida game, even in the first quarter it looked like they expected to win by 50 and were just going through the motions. Quote

If Texas spots them 14 points, i guess anything can happen. MSST and Lebby will likely deploy a similar gameplan as the 2024 game where they held onto the football for about 21 of the 30 minutes in the 1st half. Shortening the game and minimizing possessions is their best bet Quote
BevoTenn25 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago As long as the team isn’t overlooking miss state.  message boards overlooking a team isn’t hurting anyone lol. Heck we can’t do anything here but hope they go out and play to the best of their abilities. Quote
