Califashorn75 Posted yesterday at 03:50 AM Posted yesterday at 03:50 AM ...he is often criticized for our lack of threes, however, the past few years, we haven't had consistent three point shooters. It appears that has changed. He said recently that: Bri Preston, Maddie Booker, Bri Crittendon, and Zya Vann all have the green light to shoot the three. Why? Because they can make them! This will be a huge change offensively to what we are used to. Hook'em! It's going to be an exciting year. 8 Quote
harveycmd Posted yesterday at 10:35 AM Posted yesterday at 10:35 AM Like fore Booker to make some clutch twos in a big game before she shoots a bunch of threes. Quote

She only had 40 vs oregon in the tournament last year and had been 34-58 until her 3-23 performance vs UCLA in the final 4. If she's open she should have a green light from anywhere. Quote

The entire team was ice cold against UCLA, a mixture of both UCLA's defense and just everyone being off . . . maybe their legs were shot by then which affects shots. 2 Quote

Califashorn75 Posted 11 hours ago Author Posted 11 hours ago 44-27 at halftime. Horns winning but we got sloppy in the second quarter. Vic is not happy with turnovers and bad shot selection. 1 Quote
Califashorn75 Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago The youth on the team needs to figure it out before conference play. Where they once were the studs on their high school teams, this is a whole new world. You have to play defense! And make sure you take the best shot. Right now they aren't good at either. But they will improve. They have to. 1 Quote
TexasMDcoach Posted 1 minute ago Posted 1 minute ago There is a lot for coach to correct with this young team. They look nothing like his usual team at this point, but I am sure that will get corrected. He was trying to play everyone in that game, and we were comfortably ahead throughout, but the defense especially in transition and on the perimeter was poor. We also do not look as strong in the post. Quote
