...he is often criticized for our lack of threes, however, the past few years, we haven't had consistent three point shooters. It appears that has changed. He said recently that: Bri Preston, Maddie Booker, Bri Crittendon, and Zya Vann all have the green light to shoot the three. Why? Because they can make them! This will be a huge change offensively to what we are used to. Hook'em! It's going to be an exciting year.

He better add Clark to that group.

Like fore Booker to make some clutch twos in a big game before she shoots a bunch of threes.

One terrible game does not make a career. Surely you have had a day like that.

She only had 40 vs oregon in the tournament last year and had been 34-58 until her 3-23 performance vs UCLA in the final 4. If she's open she should have a green light from anywhere.

The entire team was ice cold against UCLA, a mixture of both UCLA's defense and just everyone being off . . . maybe their legs were shot by then which affects shots.

The youth on the team needs to figure it out before conference play. Where they once were the studs on their high school teams, this is a whole new world. You have to play defense! And make sure you take the best shot. Right now they aren't good at either. But they will improve. They have to.

There is a lot for coach to correct with this young team.  They look nothing like his usual team at this point, but I am sure that will get corrected.  He was trying to play everyone in that game, and we were comfortably ahead throughout, but the defense especially in transition and on the perimeter was poor.  We also do not look as strong in the post.

Breya, our post is quicker than last year. She still has a few bad habits like lowering the ball. But she is much more offensive minded now and is a bit more vocal. If she can just stay out of foul trouble!

Unfortunately,  the back up transfer is out injured. Hossa might be able to give her a few minutes, but she's slow and doesn't do much.  Itute has a strong body and Coach sees her as a good compliment down low. Crittendon and Bjorn can also rebound and block shots, but they just need experience.

The outside shooting will be much better which will allow Booker to have more free shots. She can score at will. She is a pro. She will be starting for a team in the W next year! I love the Aussie. She reminds me of Shay Holle. Has a lot of dog in her.
