Moderators Jordan Scruggs Posted 15 hours ago Moderators Posted 15 hours ago Miami putting together a terrific class. A 5-star QB in Izzy Abrams, Nick Lennear and Brysen Wright as a 5-star WR duo, and Amir Sears and Donte Wright as a 5-star CB duo 2 Quote
krzy4ut Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago At this point, you really cant fault a kid looking at Miami wr utilization vs Texas. Coleman has 23 receptions for 400 yards and 7 tds. Money had half that in 1 game. Muami qb is LIGHT YEARS ahead of arch. 1 Quote
DanielOnorato Posted 15 hours ago Author Posted 15 hours ago Couldn't be more impressed with what Cristobal has been building at Miami. In the Saban documentary I really loved his passion and fire when talking to his players. He commanded respect and challenges his unit not to be complacent. 4 Quote

Spoiler Oh wait - he DOES exactly those things. Read something recently that Lanning did well at Oregon with the linemen left over from Cristobal (and 3 NIL transfers on last season's OL) but this year every starting Oregon OL has been recruited and 'developed' at Oregon, and they aren't doing well. Had Cristobal not left Oregon we would not have gotten Kelvin Banks and Cam Williams either. 1 Quote

OTF goat @Gerry Hamilton had mentioned the contact between Texas and Brysen slowed down after his visit for the Ohio State game. I think he's locked in as he was originally a 2028 recruit and must be finalizing all plans for his re-classification to 2027 and early enrollment to Miami. Quote
AusMOJO Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Sark doesn't exactly have a good hit rate on his HS recruited WR's. So it doesn't really bother me. My uneducated guess is they go to the portal again next year. Quote
Thanos72 Posted 22 minutes ago Posted 22 minutes ago Please remind me which next 12 star, once in a generation, wide receiver has actually been that. Everyone says osu guy is great but even he hasn’t had consistent game altering impact. TGCGT period. You’ll always recruit skill positions that are good enough to win it all at a place like Texas. We need banks talent, not worthy, wanting to come here if we have to choose. Quote

PaulieD Posted 6 minutes ago Posted 6 minutes ago Maybe we nab him after a year. We do great on portal WRs. Quote
