rgvhorn80
If you could go back and choose a starting QB for last nights game, with the choice of Sam E or Quinn, who would you choose? Give me Sam all day. Edited January 11 by rgvhorn80 2

rgvhorn80
Sam was a better playmaker. With all that talent around he could’ve been just as good 1 5

Alex Butler
Quinn, except on 1st and goal from the 1, then give me bam bam Sam! Edited January 11 by Alex Butler

Quinn wasn’t either lol can’t hit a deep ball consistently and throws floaters with no velocity. Gives the ball away almost every game.

thatdude2
Sam had the option to stay and play for Sark, and he chose to leave.

Treston Marshall
Dang, tough choice. Sam was an absolute warrior, but I don't think he can hit all the same throws as Quinn.

cmk4pres
Blows my mind this is even a question and then to read some of the answers. I swear some people have zero clue watching games.
Bobbers
You guys saying that Sam can't make all the throws have to answer a simple question- how is Sam still in the NFL? Sam and Quinn are both firmly entrenched as the best Texas QBs not named James, Vince or Colt. Sam would have done well in Sark offense and added a dual threat ability. Quinn has intangibles that Sam didn't possess in the passing game. There is no reason to throw out this hypothetical if you want to run down a specific QB because they are both winners.

whereiend
For me it is Sam all day. He's only slightly behind Quinn as a passer and much better in terms of feel for the game and running. At the NFL level Quinn will be better because Sam lacks arm strength, but I don't think that inhibited him in college.

Going to be very interesting to see where he gets drafted. He needs a West Coast offense. 2

Remember the bama game before the injury? Or the bama game last year, or the record setting big 12 championship game? How about the Michigan game? Look we get, it you don't like Quinn. But talk to anyone that actually matters, players, coaches and the NFL. It's Quinn. We have to quit acting like the shortcomings of this team fall directly on Quinn. Friday night Sark along with his bone headed play calling, the offensive line didn't help him or the running backs out. 🤘 4
