Onyema has about as much basketball skill as a 3rd grader at the YMCA.  Just happens to be tall

At least he plays physical. If his roll is defense and rebounding, he can contribute.

Hes not good on defense and struggles to rebound.  He has the occasional physical play but I wouldn’t call him physical.  He’s not coordinated enough to be physical.

Please mark me down as the guy who called for RT to be fired last season (….and was against his hiring in the first place).

RT picked up the pieces after Beard was fired and led them to a Great 8 finish last year, something UT has only done 7 other times in school history.

Beards talented team took them to an elite 8. Now with Rodney’s roster, we’re looking at having a realistic shot of finishing last in the conference

Picked up the pieces? Season was half over, he rode the team Beard built to the Great 8 and lost to a bad Miami team. He isn’t a program builder, and never has been.

Ask yourself, if Beard finished the season and was let go afterward, would Terry have even received an interview? Doubtful.

He coached eight games. That’s not even close to half.

Big thing to take to the locker room.  Don't give it to Onyema 12 feet from the basket in the last second of a possession and expect him to make a shot.

OK, that was a really bad half of basketball.

We were nuked on the boards.  10 offensive rebounds to 2.  Couple that with A&M +2 in turnover margin, and A&M had ten more offensive possessions than us.  You can't win that way.  You usually can't stay in the game that way.  Without Kaluma or Weaver, we are pathetic at rebounding, and if that doesn't change, we're going to lose a lot more games and by big margins.

Some of A&M's torrid hot shooting was just that, but too much of it was our guys being lax in guarding the arc.

Our offense struggled, but it was at least trying to function before we got to the stretch after Pope dribbled off his foot and Codie hesitated after being fed on the baseline.  After that we had three straight possessions get wasted by Johnson and Mark trying to do it all by themselves.  Terry settled them down after the timeout, but it's too little, too late.

I doubt we will see a comeback for a close loss the way we did against Auburn, since I don't see us competing inside at all.  I liked some of what I saw from Codie and Pryor.  Not all by any means, and I still wonder why Vinson doesn't even get to sniff the floor when Shedrick and Kent are being absolutely overwhelmed inside.

A&M plays like a Barnes team and without Kaluma we dont have a chance. We wont win too many games without him regardless of the opponent.

Pryor has played well all three games he’s been in. Don’t know why he doesn’t get more minutes.

Lost just about every player from last year except Weaver, and he's been injured.  Obviously couldn't afford to lose Kaluma.  Just about a complete rebuild.  It has further hurt that Tre Johnson has not been playing well.

Since then, we have been in Johnson trying to do it all by himself mode.

On the inbound pass he was lazy coming to the ball so they forced it to Shed. Then he yells at the inbound passer! How about you sprint and not jog to the ball?

So yeah , Beard’s players and coached up by Beard? RT just drove the bus from there ? Which of the other assistants would have had the same result from that point. (all is the answer) Well, now it’s RT’s team mostly so the good news is he will get all the credit and shut up the naysayers.

A Miami team that finished in the Final Four, something UT hasn't done in Men's basketball but once in around 75 years.

Those two misses from Tre and Pope sealed it. One of those drops and could’ve maybe made it interesting.

Both were wide open.
