But Texas is also willing to pay a buyout to a certain point (not a 10 mill+ buyout)

While Jay Wright may not have a buyout he will come with a huge price tag likely in the $10 million per season range plus a HUGE NIL commitment.

Rumors are NIL is the reason he quit in the first place.  But watch out.  If RT catches fire in the tourney, all this new HC talk will be put on hold for at least another year.

Not celebrating that.  Vegas lines mean nothing.  The games have to be played.  If he wins 3 or more in this tourney he will be back imo

Before the tournament expanded beyond 64 teams, so no play in game.  That LSU team came to Austin and beat Weltlich's best team here by 9.

Not me.  First up is a BYU team that had a 9 game winning streak before losing to Houston in the Big 12 tournament.  Those 9 wins included wins at Arizona, at ISU, and neutral against ISU as well as a 34 point beatdown of Kansas.

You're right.  I'm wrong.  I saw the game being played on Thursday and assumed it was a round one instead of a playoff game.  Odd that they had second round games on Monay that year.
