Finally sat down and watched the press conference in its entirety. How does Kirk Bohls find a way to always ask the one question that is so stupid that the coach can’t and won’t answer? It’s really quite a skill.

I notice CDC mentioned they did a thorough background check on Miller, and he didn't have any "NCAA violations" on his record. Neither does Beard. Beard doesn't have any criminal violations on his record either. CDC also mentioned "court of public opinion." That's pretty ironic.

By the way, I have nothing against Miller. Seems to be a really good coach. My point is that we had a great coach and allowed what CDC himself called the "court of public opinion" to dictate his status. Now we have another coach who was run out of town by the "court of public opinion" at Arizona.

The only reason Beard doesn’t is because his fiancé refused to cooperate with authorities after the fact. Regardless of being prosecuted or not the affidavit cites that Beard threw her on the floor, bit her, choked her(restricted breathing), and etc. so he still beat a woman even if he wasn’t prosecuted. How can you Beard honks not get this through your heads?

Also know that CDC and and the powers that be gave Beard options that could have kept him at Texas. He’s was to arrogant to take those options and instead lashed out like an immature child via his lawyers statements.

Coach Millers job to get the best players. Getting harder to do with the ever growing BS money some want.

Yep, but someones probably gonna pay it.

NIL in college basketball vs college football are two different animals. A guy I follow once said NIL (football) means your main competitor most of the time is the dumbest one, the program willing to outspend for a single blue chip who becomes one of 22. Best example was TT buying Micah Hudson, when they could have allocated the same money for a handful of players to transform for their terrible defense. Just bad NIL management.

Basketball NIL goes to a player(s) whose going to be one of 5 and can make a significant impact on your season. And theres probably 120 teams that can afford to pay one guy top dollar. The top 30 programs have more competition now than ever to secure the commitment of the best players.

I can sign an affidavit saying I saw Santa Clause drop down the chimney. Doesn't make it true or false. It's still "court of public opinion."  Maybe Beard lashed out because he thought he was right. Doesn't prove he was. Doesn't prove he wasn't. Let's see: Beard's free and clear with a crap team in the sweet sixteen. We're hiring a coach to replace his replacement.

The Federal BI has Miller on tape breaking rules. NCAA can't prove that's illegal. There's no tape of Beard choking or biting.

So how do you diminish the police in this situation have their evidence documented as well as photos from that night while you continue to parade the FBI recordings? Continue supporting a woman beating alcoholic.

Again, there are affidavits swearing people saw big foot. Absent epistemologically verifiable evidence, we don't know.

Yeah I guess police taking photos of the victim and and noting they saw visible marks from the assault is nothing. Got it. You're pathetic

Photos don't prove who did what unless the photo shows the perpetrator in the act. They're photos. Conversely, FBI recordings of Miller are pretty definitive. You can say it's not a big deal because rules have changed. If the law changes on "beating women," will that change Beard's status?

Here's the problem with sports in today's world. If you can win games, we can suspend reality and give someone 5, 2nd chances. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a duck.

We would have a better team if Beard was still here, but it was his time to go. Glad to see him on campus when we hired him, glad to see him go when he did.

I'm guessing Arizona would say the same thing about Miller.

So you believe CDC and the University did not do their own investigation?  I guarantee they know a lot more about what happened than we do.  Beard was due $15 million if he was not fired for cause.  Why didn't he sue if he was innocent?  A logical guess is he did not want those reports to see the light of day
