As most of y'all know, I enjoy going down random rabbit holes from the previous season to get an idea as to why or how games or trends ended up the way they did. I have some ideas for rabbit holes that will be coming out after spring ball. 3rd quarter opening drives possibly red zone again But let me know what other topics you would like to see explained. Anything on the defensive side of the ball will work as well. Let me know what has always stuck on the top of your mind and I will get to researching. New rabbit hole suggestion, I have a theory that there was an extensive amount of middle pressure last year that affected both the passing and run game. Think it’s worth a look especially with the discussion we will be “better” up the middle this year. No pressure is good but I feel like middle always harder to deal with Quote

Stretching the lead by an additional score at as many opportunities as possible. If you're up by 7 and go 0-3 on the next 3 drives, that's a huge failure to me. Make that lead 21+ points and put in the dagger. I think mine is similar. I’d love the plays charted, say 3 following series, anytime we’re up by 10 or more to see what happens. I’d contrast it against deployed personnel to see if it’s a combination of different play calls and subbing when we lose the spread. Defensively, I’d love to have the linebackers charted on gap integrity. Super basic - did they maintain discipline to the gap? Were they out of position? If the right gap, what % did they make the play. They’ll be crucial this year. Edited April 4 by Thanos72 Quote

How about comparing the defenses Arch faced in ‘24 versus the collective stats of all of the defenses he would have faced if he had played a full season? Seems like a stretch, but maybe some type of predictive analytics of how he could perform this year? Edited April 4 by HTXHorn Quote
Texas fan in Georgia Posted Friday at 11:05 AM Posted Friday at 11:05 AM Seen where Texas vs Ohio st is gonna be on big noon kickoff. (Yawn) in y’all’s opinion does Texas play better in that early kickoff slot or in prime time? I’d love for that game to be played at night, but do y’all see an advantage in the 11 am kick? Quote

Itsamystery Posted Friday at 01:36 PM Posted Friday at 01:36 PM How about starting field position with outcome? Or distance on touch down plays? Quote
