No word on the $$ (reportedly nowhere near the asked for $4 million) but at least he's playing near home.  And his dad and 'uncle' are saying a big reason they left Tennessee was because they wanted Nico to play in a scheme that better prepares him for the NFL.  Yeah, OK.

Colin Cowherd was the first to report this story so a tip of the cap to him.

Ex-Tennessee Quarterback Nico Iamaleava Set to Transfer to UCLA  (SI.com - free)

Nico Iamaleava expected to transfer to UCLA after departure from Tennessee: Source  (Athletic - $)

I said to you guys in the Nico post... nobody has come out of Tennessee under Heupul and done anything of note in the NFL. That offense doesn't translate to the league. I'm happy for the kid. The rest of you wanted him to be forced to Kennesaw St...🤣🤣🤣🤦🏿‍♂️

Seems like something you think about prior to going in the first place… scheme?

If you get offered 8 million dollars... you might give it a shot... ya know, just to see. All these righteous Pilgrims today amazes me. I'm sure the Indians wished more of you were around and not your ancestors.

No. He obviously left for the money, as we can now see. If it wasn't about the biggest bag, he would've stayed close to home. What about a kid from California screams Tennessee Volunteer to you? Weird? Projection..  look up the definition.  🤘🏿

Has Iamaleava family issue their side of the story yet?  I'm curious if there's another version of the story of Tennessee failing to deliver what they promised.

Nobody cares about their side. In many folks opinions, they don't have one, which is ridiculous.

If heupel is still there 😆

People seem to gloss over the fact that the Manning family chose Sark and his offense and qb coaching over Heupul and the gang. Can't tell me that isn't an indictment on the offense and system, as a whole. Heupul is doomed.

I honestly believe Nico and those around him felt the SEC conference is too hard.  That perhaps with the same effort at a different conference, Nico would have an easier time and still make the CFB playoffs…

In that case they made yet ANOTHER big mistake by picking a bottom feeder team in the conference that won the past two national championships and has 3-4 top programs pretty much each year (OSU, Oregon, Penn State, Michigan).

UCLA is rarely even the best program in Los Angeles.  Not much chance Nico  leads them to the CFB playoffs.

Seeing how you couldn't come up with a decent reply with your personal attack... I would tend to think this lil event here is over...right?

The playground is outside, lil buddy. Run along and get some of that rambunctious energy outta ya system in a more constructive fashion.
