To be fair, he's talking to his fan base, pretty much any coach in the country is pumping his team up and hyping up their fan base.  Will they actually become good?  That's still to be seen, that's why you play the games.

This is their problem in a nutshell. Everyone not in a maroon shirt in the room will laugh at that including TCU, SMU, and Tech loyalists at the moment. No self awareness just delusions of grandeur.
