qaertyisthatdude Posted yesterday at 07:04 PM Posted yesterday at 07:04 PM Proves on field performance is not as important in recruiting as you think. USC got a good one, but we'll see if it sticks. 4 Quote
Quinncent McManning, Jr. Posted yesterday at 07:06 PM Posted yesterday at 07:06 PM Unbelievable. Gotta stay on this kid. We had too many things in our favor to allow burnt brisket to money whip him to USC. 3 Quote
TexasLonghorns Posted yesterday at 07:08 PM Posted yesterday at 07:08 PM Gerry literally just said it was Georgia and Texas out front and the others weren’t serious contenders. Big whiff 6 4 Quote

This argument is tiring. Celebrate and dance in the streets when a kid commits, but when they go elsewhere it’s always “it’s not December” “wasn’t a take”. 2 3 Quote
Hashtag Posted yesterday at 07:20 PM Posted yesterday at 07:20 PM I'd bet USC came in with a massive deal....lets see if it sticks because Riley doesn't use the TE. 2 1 Quote
taxsaver Posted yesterday at 07:25 PM Posted yesterday at 07:25 PM oh, well...Gerry was just saying how some of these NIL deals seem to happen outta nowhere fast 1 Quote

Your wrong, it's the trend usc has been on if you havent noticed the recruit gets them to set the price & then get played or outbid.. So that it's not December holds weight 3 Quote

Tuco Ramirez Posted yesterday at 07:40 PM Posted yesterday at 07:40 PM Step one: commit to USC - check step two: de-commit from USC - pending step three: commit to Texas - pending step four: fire Lincoln Riley for sucking - inevitable 1 3 Quote
justwinbaby Posted yesterday at 07:41 PM Posted yesterday at 07:41 PM (edited) Sarkisian has said on a continual basis to ask him about the recruiting class in December. Around the same time last year, not a lot of commits and some pant pissers crying about the class and then a top class in December 2024. USC has a lot of time to fight off decommits with a big class currently before a single snap of the season. Edited yesterday at 07:43 PM by justwinbaby 5 1 Quote
NothinButDaHorns34 Posted yesterday at 07:42 PM Posted yesterday at 07:42 PM I don’t fault a five star offensive player who wants to play for riley, But that offense has been spurting since caleb left. Hopefully he wakes up and abandons ship like justus and xavier did. 1 Quote
Hookem72 Posted yesterday at 07:44 PM Posted yesterday at 07:44 PM If I recall this time last year Justus Terry was committed to USC. 5 1 1 Quote

I think “let’s see what happens in December” is a good take on all commits at this point, whether they go Texas’s way or not. 5 Quote

Just look at their recruiting history over the last couple of classes. The top end usually decommit or transfer after a year. 3 Quote

Don’t disagree but who says that when a player commits and celebration ensues on the board? It’s never mentioned when we get someone. Quote
