Thanks Luke Dotson (P) lefthander, from Miss St 2025 stats 3.09 ERA, 23.1 innings pitched, 34 SO, 12 BB Josh Livingston (1B/3B) bats left, from Wichita St 2025 stats, 56 games, .284 batting ave, 15 HR, 10 doubles, 48 RBI’s, .958 OPS, 55 SO, 28 BB, 16 HBP Jack Moroknek (OF) bats left, from Butler 2025 stats, 54 games, .372 batting ave, 18 HR, 16 doubles, 57 RBI’s, 1.145 OPS, 41 SO, 26 BB Kaleb Freeman (OF/2B) bats both, from Georgia St 2025 stats, 56 games, .349 batting ave, 16 HR, 28 doubles, 46 RBI’s, 1.236 OPS, 48 SO, 56 BB Aiden Robbins (OF) bats right, from Seton Hall 2025 stats, 53 games, .422 batting ave, 6 HR, 19 doubles, 5 triples, 38 RBI’s, 1.189 OPS, 32 SO, 44 BB I used OPS because it combines on base plus slugging percentage. A higher OPS shows a better picture of how productive they are offensively. Edited 9 hours ago by marathon 7 2 Quote
.45s Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago How will Freeman and Robbins fit in? They both had more walks than Ks. 😀 Hopefully at least one of these new commits can adapt well to SEC pitching. We definitely need to improve the hitting and the power from last year. I am not sure if any of the incoming freshman will step up right away, particularly if Cunningham and Fien go pro. 1 Quote
texcoyote15 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I didn’t want to start a new thread just to say MAN what a game last night between Arkansas and LSU. If you didn’t see the ending go back and watch the last inning. Being a lifelong Texas fan, it was glorious. Now we need Costal Carolina to spin up and have a great final. LETS GO CHANTICLEERS!!!! 1 Quote

This season Freeman was the NCAA leader with 28 doubles. While hitting .422 Robbins had 5 triples and 20 stolen bases and didn’t make an error all season. The HR totals from Livingston, Moroknek and Freeman are impressive. I hope they translate against SEC pitching. 1 Quote

Think we had like 2 players hitting over .300 last season in our lineup 1 Quote

It’s absolutely criminal that LSU has tied us in football championships and surpassed us in baseball. They must be stopped at all costs. Their nouveau riche success burns me up to no end. 2 Quote

Like UConn men’s and women’s basketball around the same time, just different sports. When they get to the championship game, they win it more often than not, and they’ll probably do it again in a few days. I think Texas has the right guys in place with Sark and Schloss to change that, however. Quote
