Look... I'm more nervous than an escort in the front row on Waster Sunday when it comes to Jalen Lott and his recruiting. Maybe the guys at Rogue Shop can look out for me. What's up... is he going to USC and Lincoln with his big sis? I only see pops co-signing him leaving Texas in the dust for USC because big sis can protect him... and that sucks donkey balls! Am i tripping.. or did Bishop Jr choosing UT and playing WR kill Jalen taking the offer?

Long time til December. What is settled today may look different in 5 or 6 months.

I keep seeing people referencing December but there is no national letter of intent anymore.

You guys absolutely need to stop with the dad angle on Jalen Lott. James Lott is a good guy and a great Longhorn.

Jalen is not solely "going to the highest bidder".

None of us know what Jalens dreams/goals are or what's best for him as fans. I would love to see him play for Texas but I will root for his best interests wherever he goes and am appreciative for his family and his consideration of Texas. This is a great time for all of these kids, for many it is life changing. Try to stay positive no matter what guys, Texas cupboard is far from bare.

Chicken Little.  Bishop is too much for him.

He should be playing DB anyway.  Next.

I figured Bishop committing and playing wr was the straw that broke the camels back.

Lott is leaning away from Texas at this time.

I remember when $MU came into DKR for an afternoon game and brought their "Payroll" team when they were a Top 10 team for the first time in generations.

DKR still had the track around the football field. Late in the game the Longhorns' Mr. Lott Sr. was playing CB and the Ponies decided threw to his side from about the Texas 15-yd line at the North end of the field.

Lott broke up consecutive pass plays near the pylon. After the second PBU he bent over and threw up on the track surface.

Lott's big plays on D were one of the keys to the Texas victory that day.

If his son doesn't want to be known as a Legacy player I can respect that. My daughter was not a student athlete, but I must tell you I was really happy when she told me she was going to the Forty Acres and our family enjoyed her time as a student at UT.

Not looking likely right now, but the comments berating the kid are uncalled for. There's a long time til signing day and a lot can happen. Let's not sound like agsy. He's a hell of a player. Can't get them all. Good luck to him either way.

A bit disappointing that he’s trending elsewhere but you can only lead a horse to water, so to speak.  It’s a pity he wants to play WR.  I vividly remember Rod B reviewing his DB tape and going completely gaga over him.   What a shame.

He will go to the highest bidder for his NIL deal, dad leading the way on it.

USC can put a very nice NIL package together than involves his sister who is on the US track team.
