People are saying he may have played his way off the roster after just one game after a 5-18 96 yard 48.1 qbr 2 fumble performance against the bears. 0 touchdowns 0 interceptions.

He was a 7th round qb and is 3rd on the depth chart for a reason. Sure we want him to play better than his draft position, the Dolphins aren't in a rush to replace Tua or they wouldn't have signed Zach Wilson. You wanna talk about someone who looks like they don't belong go watch how Alfred Collins played with his pads in the clouds, got pushed around, and being one of the biggest people on the feild you don't even notice him.

I place much of his performance on a very porous third string O line and half his passes that were incomplete were either drops or throw aways.  Not a good sample size to base a judgment.

He showed all the exact same problems he had here yesterday. Dude is a practice/7on7 hero that is scared of a rush.

Personally I don't follow Longhorns after they get drafted. I only watched because its football, so whether Quinn makes it or not I'm not like others here who needs their opinion of Quinn to be validated. Alfred Collins however, being a fan of the 49ers I need more from him. If some Texas fans just want to continue to pile on Quinn because that's what they're used to doing then hey go right ahead. If you're not a fan of the Dolphins what does it matter where his career go from here?

Because I watch a lot of football and his game was on during that time slot yesterday.

So what is it we're expecting from a 7th round qb? People are acting as if he was drafted 1/1, what is fun about bashing a 7th round qb? Isn't that kicking a man when he's already down?

Well also both accomplished more at Texas than Ewers.

Vince was rookie of the year and a pro bowler. Colt had a 10+ year career in the nfl. Quinn I don’t think will touch either of those.

I don't think anyone is kicking him while he's down, just bringing up facts. He had a horrible game, hopefully he'll rebound.

I mean I agree with you that guys are piling on Quinn right now, for various reasons.  But he was pretty bad for the Dolphins ... both things can be true.

I'm not a Quinn basher myself, but there's truth in much of the criticism.

Sam does not suck as an NFL quarterback. He is in year 5, was heavily pursued by teams after his rookie deal was up (he rightfully did not want to re-sign with Colts). Just because he isnt a starter doesnt mean he’s not good. Backup qb in the NFL is literally the dream job lol. I also think he has qualified for NFL Pension. For a college qb that was never viewed as a pro prospect, that’s damn good.

Sam, Colt, and even Vince are having and had good careers in the NFL.  I’ll take millions to tote a clipboard.  And they perform when they have to come in a game in a mi yes notice and can win games.  It’s the highest level of football in the world.  Being second  string ain’t bad.

But it does give them more lead way with Texas fans. They left it all on the field and with Ewers it felt like he left a lot to be desired, especially considering the team talent around him. Either way it's a complete deflection away from Quinn to even bring them up.

What does that to do with posts about their respective NFL performances?
