DirectorsCupUpdates Posted November 20 Author Posted November 20 Cross country finished their seasons last weekend. The men took 5th in the regional, not impressive but will earn 27ish Directors Cup points. The women with a really poor showing and a 7th place finish. That’ll be a 0 for the cup. Hopefully this is 1 of our 2 dropped scores. Texas really needs to invest in some distance runners. Some top Cc runners that can also score in distance events in track and field. 1 Quote

They were very competitive in their first year last year and have brought in quality players. Not sure if they have a roster to go deeper than the elite 8 like last year though as at that point you have to beat a well established power. Quote
DirectorsCupUpdates Posted November 26 Author Posted November 26 Texas will make their appearance in the top 10 at some point during the winter season. Let’s see how close football and volleyball can get them! Quote
HookemTexas Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Well football may not make the playoffs, so that's points from last year down. Quote
HookemTexas Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago The women's teams will need to carry the load again this year with football missing the playoffs (except for Swimming & Diving where both teams need to, but the men will be favorites for the title). Softball will be expected to compete for a championship, not sure where baseball will be, women's bball expected to compete, doubt it on men's bball (after watching Virginia take them to the woodshed), so far volleyball looking good. Yep, and this has been the case over the years. Plenty of good men’s teams over the years, spread across all the men’s sports at times, but the consistently high performing teams have mostly been on the women’s side. Men’s swimming, golf and tennis probably the most consistent on that side of things. Quote
