Waxahorn Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I thought "All Gas, No Brakes" would be more fun than this. Our offense needs to take a Greyhound bus back to Austin. 4 Quote
NothinButDaHorns34 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Remember all of the lofty preseason offensive predictions some of us had on here for this team? Fun fun times Quote

Neil Leininger Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago 2 minutes ago, Califashorn75 said: Arch is so inaccurate. What is his problem? Fundamentals and between the ears. He doesn't process at an acceptable level for a 3rd year QB, and his fundamentals when setting up are abysmal. Any other name of the back of his jersey would have him riding the bench by now. 6 1 Quote

4thandFive Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago 23 minutes ago, Jeff Howe said: Sark: "As I told the team, half of the SEC lost today. We were on the other half." That’s just not a good enough approach. WE can think that way as fans, they can’t afford to. 4 Quote
Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted 11 hours ago Moderators Posted 11 hours ago 19 minutes ago, Texazz said: As fans - we’ve been fed lies. lies about “how great this team/Arch/WR/OL” would be during the off season. I don’t believe for one second that this team looked “like a SEC/NC title contender” during the off season. i love this OTF product. But GD yall need to be honest with what you see. There’s zero freaking chance yall saw no false starts, good Brandon baker play, accurate Arch throws, and great Wingo hands all summer. that massive jump from 80k to 210k subs must only be bots….. cuz any human can see the disparity between offseason reporting and the current product on the field. Yep. That's it. We lied! Please. Get out of here with that crap. Seriously. 11 3 1 Quote

ET Horn Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Wingo is not the #1 wr we need. He is talented but has not stepped up. We have to start moving the pocket more. Our OL is not going to give enough time plus Arch is more accurate when moving because he does not have time to think about the throw. He is skipping and sailing throws on well designed plays. yips are real. 4 Quote
Tuco Ramirez Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago 22 minutes ago, Jeff Howe said: Sark said he didn't consider a quarterback change. This is really disturbing to me. This was a must win game that went down to the last play. Arch wasn’t good. He wasn’t winning this game. Why wasn’t Sark doing everything he could, including a quarterback change, to win?! 7 1 Quote

MarkInAustin Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Against OU last week and Michigan last season Texas committed to short, quick, easy passes and outside zone runs. That worked well. Other stuff eventually opened up. We saw none of that tonight. Why? 1 1 Quote

By no Means did you guys lie but I do think we’re all learning first hand that Sark and the entire football program cannot be trusted as sources. Too much arrogance and makes it difficult to report on the team. 4 1 Quote

All the other national media people that were at practices and such. What did they say? What did all the former players that go to practice say? Very similar. It's not just Texas, to be clear. It's in general when a team goes bad in college or pro sports. The team media coverage people are always blamed for lying and bad sources. And that is complete BS IMO. What if there is culture rot during a season behind the scene? What if there is staff rot during a season? Etc... There is so much that goes into success, and sustained success IMO. But we all have different opinions, and that's what makes the world go round. I get it. 8 2 Quote

High emphasis on the second to last paragraph. Internal factors occurring behind the scenes are not the fault of Texas reporters. How is it Gerry’s fault that Texas is playing like they are? Quote

Recruiting efforts and insights are better Than EVERYONE out there. And your work on the road is commendable and shows commitment to your craft. but even you will NOT be eating a mayo corn dog after this win….. right? ?? can we at least agree that this team looked worse today than the past 2 weeks? And perhaps even worse than they did in preseason practices? Based on the preseason reporting, I think we all expected more….. I don’t see much progress with this team as a whole. Again, thanks and I’ll stop being negative. hook em 2 Quote
