Moderators Jeff Howe Posted November 27, 2025 Moderators Posted November 27, 2025 Texas got the Aggies back on the schedule and doesn’t have to play in Lawrence on Black Friday (which, in 2018, actually happened): 2 16 Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted November 27, 2025 Author Moderators Posted November 27, 2025 Other than Arizona-Arizona State and Baylor-UH, the Big 12 schedule this weekend is hot garbage: 1 2 Quote

HookemTexas Posted November 27, 2025 Posted November 27, 2025 Such stupid scheduling not actually trying to put the few rivals left against each other on rivalry week. 1 Quote
Inspired73 Posted November 27, 2025 Posted November 27, 2025 Looking at that schedule, it is a face that only a mother could love. And the attendance will be? AU vs ASU= full house BYU at home=full house UH at BAYLOR=25% capacity (trying to be positive here) ALL Others=less than 50% (what else is there to do in West Virginia?) Quote
Tuco Ramirez Posted November 27, 2025 Posted November 27, 2025 So weird that the best rivalries in the big 12 are BYU v Utah and Arizona v Arizona St. Why the hell isn’t BYU v Utah playing on rivalry weekend? 1 Quote

John F. Posted November 28, 2025 Posted November 28, 2025 Y’all don’t miss those epic games in Ames? Quote
CHorn427 Posted November 28, 2025 Posted November 28, 2025 It’s actually by design. They put the rivalries like BYU-Utah, etc earlier in the season to draw “game of the week” stuff. Those are the only big games they can count on. They’ve got to stretch them over weeks, not have them all on the same day. None of those can compete in intrigue with the rivalries in other conferences. Quote

What's really stupid about their scheduling is they made sure Texas Tech plays both Kansas schools and both Utah schools but they only played one other in-state school and the one they chose to give them was the one they have the least history with. How is there any season in which Texas Tech, Baylor and TCU don't play each other?? 2 Quote
