    If you think A&M didn't know or Florida State or Oregon, or whoever, then you just don't understand recruiting. Gerry's reporting isn't somehow negatively effecting Texas recruiting.

    Well, the kid and his agent are saying the agreement wasn’t honored. The player says he was told he was going to get $100k in NIL and he’s just received $3k. I don’t think the player is just making this up. That would make no sense.

    I have a hard time believing UNLV can’t come up with $100k for the starting QB unless the coaching staff has pissed off every high roller in that town. There are folks there who play $100k hands of blackjack. Somebody would have fronted it somehow.

    I don’t want to rain on your parade, but I don’t think your idea will ever truly play out. Several reasons, one of them is the NCAA specifically wants basketball to have its own time in the sun. Remember, the NCAA makes money off of basketball, not football. Perhaps we could have some version of spring football where teams scrimmage one another. Or maybe the FCS teams and possibly some G5s move to an entirely spring season? There’s also the NFL to consider. If you start moving big games off of every Saturday in the fall, the NFL might decide to move some games to Saturdays.
