  1. Thank y’all! Now let’s beat Georgia and show the portal who’s boss. 🙂
  2. So I liked that video. A lot. 😉
  3. Thx guys for the correction! The Atlanta Texas Exes group sent me the info and I added a little but mixed up venues. Sorry about that. Should be accurate now. Hope folks can come out!
  4. For those of you traveling to Atlanta for the game this weekend, there are two parties everyone is invited to. The first is a Happy Hour on Friday afternoon. It’s the SEC Championship Welcome Party that the folks of the Atlanta Texas Exes are throwing. Again everyone is welcome. CJ and I will be there, so please come out. It is at Botica which is in the popular Buckhead area of Atlanta. Here is the link: https://url.us.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/BElhCM8KoXfqnmowKFwfrI8PFEY?domain=eventbrite.com And for Saturday, the Exes are putting on the official tailgate party. It will be at The Hudson Grille and will include a buffet and premium drinks as part of the cost. It is also just a 10-minute walk to Mercedes Benz Stadium. Here is the link for the Official Texas Exes Tailgate: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2024-official-texas-exes-sec-championship-tailgate-tickets-1103814100689?aff=BBOT
  5. Very happy with Texas sits as of right now. Things can change fast. But as of right now, I like them a lot. No different than this morning when I said the pendulum was swinging toward Texas.
  6. Hook’Em and welcome to the family!
  7. College football has never been more popular. They need to get their arms around NIL and what it means. Texas is prospering regardless.
  8. In an earlier version of Rapid Reactions, we accidentally left an unedited version slip into our video. We have corrected our mistake. To any it may have offended, please accept our sincere apologies.
  9. The last four weeks, he has totally changed the complexion of the Texas offense. We went from a Quinn-focused offense to a run-focused offense with Quinn and Sark piecing the rest together.
  10. Development everywhere. The last two seasons will show you that. And the NFL draft is going to show you that. All arrows pointing up!
  11. That was an amazing game, comeback, etc. Wow.
  12. Maybe he won’t sign until February?
  13. There is not. But… If Texas makes it to Atlanta next week or hosts a playoff game, we will absolutely be having some sort of gathering.
  14. It absolutely was part of it. Roschon is one of those guys!
  15. I think my dad always made his sandwiches with mustard and it’s been that way since jump street for me. I don’t even remember having Mayo in the fridge growing up. So the first time I tried it on a sandwich, I knew it just wasn’t for me.
  16. Avishai, there’s an old testament saying, “out of the mouths of babes.”
  17. From Cedric Baxter. https://www.theplayerstribune.com/cj-baxter-ncaa-football-texas-longhorns
  18. Kicker from The Woodlands that Texas offered a couple of weeks ago. Not sure Texas will be taking a kicker this year though with Auburn set to return.
  19. Some Florida reporters are saying Kellen Wiley does not have a committable offer from the Gators.
  20. We're on Robert Dedman. Last tailgate closest to Dean Keaton Blvd. Join us!
  21. Barking up the wrong tree. LSU knew those two were expected in Austin before news was made public.
  22. 100-percent chance he goes pro.
  23. I'm in at 19-9! Two TDs, a field goal and a safety.
  24. Florida seems to be feeling a little marginalized by it and taking it personally.
  25. From Gerry: After canceling his previously scheduled visit to Miami for this weekend, Tampa, Fla., linebacker Kellen Wiley is a possible visitor to Texas this weekend. However, Florida now is also entering the picture and attempting to get him to visit Gainesville this weekend instead. Looks like the Gators don’t like the Longhorns going to the Sunshine State and trying to do whatever they can to stop it. 🙂
