    Ohio State may have the best pair of RBs in the country but I really like Alabama’s duo, too. But with the Tide, I’m still just not sure how much Milroe fits Deboer.

    Texas has tackled really well through two games. I think we’ll see better skill personnel from other teams in the future, but through two games, it has been really much better than the last three, especially in the secondary.

    It’s the fourth quarter. The game is out of hand. But Sark asks Ryan Niblett, all 180 pounds of him, to take on a linebacker on a short-yardage play. Niblett takes it to the linebacker.     I had 10-2 with a ceiling of 11-1 and floor of 8-4. The floor has moved up a tick. I want to see Arkansas, OU and A&M in the next couple of weeks. Arkansas apparently has a potent offense. OU has a good D and a bad situation on O but it’s a no holds barred rivalry game. A&M has a chance to get its season back on track with a win against floundering Florida this weekend.

    Agree with this. If they get slapped in the face, they will respond. I can guarantee you the money folks will understand when something’s not working. Most of them have put money into businesses, tried things and then failed. They understand that sunk money is sunk money. It doesn’t make you feel good and perhaps makes you more reticent to try things in the future but they know it’s about the bottom line at the end of the day.

    I think Joey McGuire is gonna have to answer a lot of questions this year from the looks of it. Go to OT with Abilene Christian and then lose resoundingly to Wazzou. That’s not the trajectory Tech was hoping for in year three.

    That’s where I come out. Quinn earned that platform. Would feel differently if Sark would have actually been throwing, etc.
