  1. Oscar Giles was 95 when I was in school. Yes, the one in the black and white photo. Interestingly, no current player on the roster is wearing 95.
  2. Gerry has debunked some of it. Gerry says he doesn’t think Saban would have followed through and actually gone to Texas.
  3. Very fair. He got paid for the job and slings and arrows are part of it.
  4. I’d add one more item to make it four. The most transfers Texas has in any transfer top 100 is 2 out of 11. I basically just think they under-ranked the individual players.
  5. No one is perfect. Including any of us.
  6. I don’t see a scenario that pushes Notre Dame to a conference UNLESS there is unified broadcast rights across all of college football. That’s the only way and that’s a long, long ways off from happening, if ever.
  7. I think Klubnik is a very good player. I just don’t think he’s a 1-1. But I still don’t see that in Cam Ward either.
  8. Lot of freaks in the 2025 class IMO.
  9. Would love to see a big inning here.
  10. Great stuff!
  11. If you missed this morning's show, I think it's worth your time to watch the Jordan Washington portion of the show. Definitely a solid person and teammate!
  12. They should be able to do whatever they want. If I were the CFB commissioner…
  13. Thanks to Coach White for his time this morning and good luck to his Horns against Clemson! Shout out to Bob's Chop House as well. If you're keeping score: Mike White - Bob's Chop House Bob Bowman - Whataburger Vic Schaefer - Capitol Grille
  14. Great post!
  15. Only two Horns: No. 67 - Maraad Watson No. 90 - Jack Endries
  16. Hmmm. Seems like that list doesn’t really give much credit to the Texas eval staff IMO.
  17. Lacey is not QB2 at this point. Owens is. Beyond that, there are nuances to everything. Owens had better scrimmages than practices overall but he remains QB2.
  18. We’ve had Ross on the show before. He is reporting conferences are closer to going to 16 teams with 4 AQs for SEC and B10 with play-in games. https://x.com/rossdellenger/status/1920620823779348789?s=46&t=ISjkoHkBIkXYXFbgvlDUoA
  19. Niblett seems too small for kick returns but I'm not sure there's a better option.
  20. Nice comparison IMO.
  21. Yahoo Sports posted a great article on why pro scouts are so excited about Arch Manning. Definitely worth your time IMO. https://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/article/arch-manning-has-blue-blood-pedigree-now-he-just-needs-more-snaps-to-become-a-blue-chip-nfl-draft-prospect-220844820.html
  22. He just replaced A&M with South Carolina for June 20. My take on the offer is pretty simple. He’s damn good and Texas is going to recruit the best in the country. Penn State has also offered and is trying to get him to visit.
  23. While elements of what you say are true, I think it's more about who the people are. For example, Bob Kraft got plenty of grief over his involvement in these types of places, although he apparently did so with consent. He was on the news over it for months. DeShaun Watson did it without consent sometimes, allegedly. Those two are/were the faces of a franchise. They have a much higher profile than Tucker. After all, Tucker is a kicker. If Tom Brady did it, what do you think the media would do? There's also the idea that Kraft was the first owner and Watson was the first player to have to bear such allegations. So the "newness" aspect drove some of the media narrative IMO. It's similar to the first time someone like Ray Rice did what he did during the Me Too movement. As for the punishment phase, Tucker was just waived by his team after they looked deeper into the allegations apparently. What else could a team do? My point is: I think there are certainly some elements of race as an issue in America that are valid. And part of what you wrote above is true. But it's not exactly an apples to apples comparison like you make it out to be. Again, America is not perfect. I'm just not so sure this is a shining direct example of what you speak.
  24. Your subscription has expired. And you either didn’t renew or more likely your card changed during the year so the auto renewal couldn’t go through. All you have to do is renew.
