  1. He grew up in Georgia. Florida-Georgia is everything to him. Just like Alabama-Auburn is to Paul. And Texas-OU to me.
  2. The NCAA agreed to permanently change its transfer rules and allow multiple transfers without an athlete having to sit out one season upon the second transfer. This was expected. Not a major rule change IMO.
  3. Thought the very first page of the SEC media booklet here was interesting.
  4. There are still details to be vetted but it's 22-percent of revenue if colleges opt to do so. My guess is all major teams that want to play big boy football will opt in.
  5. Could be a potentially good sign for Nick Brooks.
  6. This morning, Rodney Terry called Nic Codie the best player from the Texas high school ranks from this year.
  7. Marruci Sports is LSU’s big NIL baseball person. Big name in the industry.
  8. Space, literally. 😉
  9. Texas continues to up its game in the NIL space. As many know, the Texas One Fund, the NIL collective of choice for the Longhorns, raised millions of dollars over the weekend via a two-day charity event, including a golf scramble on Friday morning and concert and silent auction Saturday evening. Well, the group isn't stopping there. Later today, Texas One Fund will announce another corporate partnership in addition to ones with Benchmark Bank, Covert Auto Group, Ticket City, Brown Distributing and the Oak View Group. We caught up with Patrick "Wheels" Smith, president of the One Fund, over the weekend for an interview. Make sure you check that out either on YouTube or via Podcast.
  10. Folks, It's about to be football season and we are in the process of finalizing our advertisers/sponsors for this fall. If you or anyone you know is interested in sponsoring OTF in the coming months, please send me an email at ontexasfootball@gmail.com. Thanks, Bobby

  11. I have several thoughts here: 1. What recourse do businesses have against athletes? I can assure you that Fanatics doesn't want to be suing athletes. This does not look good for them. 2. It makes me feel even more certain that the NCAA should have ZERO oversight of NIL. It's a private business and a private matter. Imagine this being a Texas player and the NCAA trying to retroactively take away a championship from Texas because a player didn't live up to their contractual obligations of an NIL deal.
  12. Fanatics is suing Marvin Harrison Jr. over NIL work not done and breach of contract. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/40174859/fanatics-files-suit-cardinals-wr-marvin-harrison-jr
  13. It’s 2-2 with three matches left on court.
  14. Does anyone have the live link for scoring?
  15. Texas beat Wake Forest in the semis. TCU defeated top-ranked Ohio State on its side of the draw yesterday.

  17. Yes, they are still given. And they are still prized.
  18. Good question and thought. Yes. The university has a program adjacent to the athletic department for the players.
  19. ONTEXAS is the code goodr.com/ontexas
  20. For certain reasons, I can't get into this right now. But I think the Horns actually have 3 spots left. And it's not because anyone is leaving the program.
