  1. You obviously pay attention. He played quite a bit, despite dealing with an injury much of season. Have you ever changed jobs?
  2. Here is a breakdown of SEC Schools and # of top 20 teams each school plays Here is Big 10, along with ND, Miami & Tx Tech. ND & Miami are pathetic and Tx Tech is an absolute joke. No Utah or BYU for Tx Tech's conference games next yr and non-conference games against Abilene Christian, At Oregon St, and Sam Houston. There is such a huge disparity in SEC/Big 10 games vs. ACC & Big 12. The SEC doesn't even include teams like LSU, Florida and Tennessee that could easily be top 20 next year based upon talent levels. Texas has to play at LSU and Tennessee next year, and both are very difficult road environments. It will be interesting to see if Ohio St were to lose to Texas on the road next year and then if they were to lose 2 other games. Will they get the Texas treatment?
  3. We could be in this same spot next year with Ohio St at home and road games at Tenn, A$M, and LSU and with OU at Dallas. Not to mention a playoff team in Ole Miss at home. We also play Florida at home and I predict they will be much better next year with a new staff and a veteran team and easier schedule.
  4. I think Miami jumps ND. A lot of talking heads today pushing for head to head compare since teams are right next to each other in ranking. I would guess bama stays in, although they don’t deserve based upon their play over the 2nd half of season.
  5. Miami and ND only have 2 losses due to an easy schedule. UT is 3-2 vs the top 15 with the only losses to #1 Ohio State and #2 Georgia. UT beat Aggie at home ND lost to Aggie. Miami beat ND. Miami and UT should get in but I think the committee will put in both Miami and ND to avoid the discussion on those 2.
  6. That defense looks good against non-athletic big 12 teams. Wait until they start to play teams with athletes. Their back 7 is not very athletic. Their mustache lb crew will get exposed in space. They have good front line DL … I will give you that. Their offense will get shut down against good defenses
  7. Will be interesting to see how he handles the criticism and expectations. He came across as extremely thin skinned at Iowa St. Remember when he went after the fans who yelled something at him when he was upset by an inferior non-conference opponent a few years ago. Not sure if the 5 star culture speaches will work the same at a place like PSU.
  8. Not sure how you feed everyone with 105.
  9. Did he make lsu wr rotation? Everyone knew about him coming out of HS in Texas due to his speed but don’t believe we ever really pursued him. Just because a guy is fast doesn’t mean he can play Wr.
  10. Crazy to think about the average tenure of SEC coaches next year. I guess Kirby, Sark, Huepel and Clark Lea are the veteran coaches. The 9 game SEC schedule will drive more turnover. 1st or 2nd year coaches at most schools next year.
  11. In conf Away schedule is much tougher than home.
  12. We aren’t talking enough about how special this guy is
  13. Agree. If the true strength of schedule isn’t going to factor into equation, get rid of the game.
  14. Does that make you feel better
  15. Ga tech loss pretty guarantees only 1 ACC team as loser of acc championship guaranteed to have 3 losses now. A 3 loss Texas trumps a 3 loss ACC team. We need 1 of bama or OU to lose next week along with a Vandy loss to Tenn. bama will struggle to move ball on the road vs a good Auburn defense. byu win was a bit of a hit tonight. Will a 2 loss byu (assuming a loss to tech) get in over a 3 loss sec team. Byu hasn’t beat anyone this year. It Texas beat a$m they can point to 3 top 10 wins.
  16. I was at game and they never showed replay. Was the targeting the correct call?
  17. If he goes anywhere probably OU since they need a rb and he grew up an OU fan in Oklahoma.
  18. I have a feeling LSU will name Joe Brady next week. No inside info. They are going to try to have a coach with enough time to have conversations with some of the recruits and also assemble some staff members. LSU is going to look to take an up and comer to save on salary and limit buy out in new coach’s contract. No way someone like Kiffin leaves a playoff team until January, or after the 1st round. So unless Ole Miss loses to Fla or Miss St Kiffen isn’t leaving until they are done with playoffs.
  19. What a cluster f. Will make it difficult to attract a top tier coach when you try to f-over the last coach. They are going to end up hiring a guy like Joe Brady, as they can buy with a bargain price without much buy-out. Could be a home run, but could also be a dud. Always a bigger risk to hire a first time head coach, especially at top 10 program.
  20. We need Cincinnati to knock off BYU so BYu doesn’t have me regular season with 1 loss. If you have 2 - 1 loss big 12 teams playing in the big 12 championship I could possibly see a 2 loss looser of big 12 getting in.
  21. This was a big development today. Pretty much guarantees only 1 ACC team gets in. Ga tech is the only 1 loss team, but they still play Georgia. In all likelihood the runner up in the ACC championship will end up with 3 losses. None of the ACC 2 loss teams will have the resume of 3 loss SEC teams.
  22. BYU is so overrated. They wouldn’t finish in the top 1/2 of SEC and they are undefeated going into week 9.
  23. TRACK & FIELD As a junior, ran wind-aided times of 10.66 and 21.57 in the 100 and 200, respectively, per Athletic.net. Posted wind-legal times of 10.88 and 21.93 in Spring 2025, per MileSplit.
  24. Tech doesn’t have a deep roster and it remains to be seen how they will compete against teams with deeper rosters if they make the playoffs. They’ve played very few teams worth a crap. They can throw out $3m to one guy or $1m to a few guys. What would their record be in the SEC where those DL would face many more future NFL OL.
  25. My main concern is the soft zone coverage will give up easy throws to Branch and allow him to work in space. With our pass rush we should be playing tighter coverage given the qb has limited time to get the ball off. It will allow for more defensed passes and more ints. Perhaps we give up a big play, or two, but allowing teams to have easy completions makes it too easy to keep the chains moving for the offense.
