  1. I prefer mustard overall, but don't mind mayo on some things. To me, mayo goes better with things that have mild flavors. My son likes both, my wife rarely eats mustard, but actually prefers butter over mayo. One of my siblings hated mayo with a passion and would not eat anything with mayo in it, including coleslaw, potato salad, sandwiches, etc. Of course we teased him to no end. Regarding the corndog issue, check the website of the vendor they keep referring to and they only show them with mustard. That is the way to go.
  2. At least everyone is in agreement as usual.
  3. They definitely tend to be less spicy, but most people don't mind that. I started using serranos a lot well before the Aggies got involved with jalapenos because serranos have a lot more flavor in my opinion. I always use them for things like pico de gallo or homemade salsa. Unfortunately, for the few around that appreciated the hotter jalapenos and like spicy peppers, serranos or other peppers somewhat similar to jalapenos are not available as sliced or whole pickled. Pickled jalapenos are extremely popular.
  4. Modified jalapenos is pretty far down the list, if even on the list. for most people that hate or dislike aTm.
  5. Mid 60s as a very young boy. I grew up in Houston and went to a lot of U of H games and a few Rice game with friends up through high school and a lot of Bluebonnet Bowls. My dad was not a college fan (but big Dallas fan) so he had no interest in college games. I watched the 1969 game against Arkansas at a friends house whose father was an Arky grad and they were both big fans. Thank goodness we won. In college I started going to UT games and even suffered through a game at Kyle Field once and made it to one OU game back then. We won the first and lost the second. Since then I have lived all over and have made it to a smattering of games. I have also been a fan of the baseball team for about the same length and played with or against some of the UT players in high school and growing up. I have been to a lot of the baseball games and have been to the College World Series three times, once when they were not even in it. That is a must for college baseball fans.
  6. Bleacher Report and another agency report that JT has been released from the hospital. Hopefully that is true.
  7. I saw that too. I wonder where they get their information. Regarding that player, he was hurt after about 6 starts, so he was only the starter for that period of time. He has been rehabing so that may be the speculation and/or reasoning for starting him off in the bullpen.
  8. School buses?
  9. Get well Carrie.
  10. I didn't check for other players missing from that list, but Gibson was in and the Box Score shows that he had 2 carries
  11. Man, there must be a bunch of young ones here who haven’t learned Aggie jokes. An Aggie comes home early from work and finds his wife in bed with another man. In anger, he rushes over to the dresser and grabs a pistol from one of the drawers. He puts it to his head and his wife yells “Please don’t”. He looks at her and says “Shut up, you’re next bit_h”.
  12. Impressive.
  13. Well, if they sign the 16 that had committed that is a very good class.
  14. Recruiting or Signing? I haven't seen anything about anyone signing as of about 1:20 today.
  15. A guy walks into a bar and says to the bartender, “Hey bartender, I know a great Aggie joke. You want to hear it?” The bartender says, “Well, before you tell it I should probably tell you that I went to A&M. And you see those two big guys sitting next to you – they were linebackers for the A&M football team. And those two guys on your other side – they’re Marines, and they used to be in the Corps of Cadets at A&M. Now, are you sure you really want to tell that Aggie joke?” The guy thinks for a second. “I guess not,” he said. “I wouldn’t want to have to explain it five times.”
  16. I have never seen it personally, but have heard that on occasion where Texas Highway 6 (Texas 6) runs through Bryan and College Station someone will write "A&M 0" at the bottom of one or more of the signs.
  17. I heard this differently years ago. The last line was "Why don't you ask him, he might let you".
  18. If you started watching games in the 60s, Aggies were not that good and Arkansas was. OU has always been a big rival.
  19. We need more jokes. Query your Aggie acquaintances. Aggies seem to know a lot of Aggie jokes. They live them.😀
  20. Only a fan since you were born?
  21. Pretty good bench and squat numbers too.
  22. Strength and Courage. Get well soon. 🙏
  23. Has anyone heard if any of the new guys have performed beyond expectations so far after fall ball or if any of the old ones are not playing up to expectations?
