  1. This is the same person that said they don’t have the NIL package to compete at Arkansas. He’s an a$$ but hey, they’re going to make whatever argument they can to get out of Texas getting in or considered. The FSU loss is worse plus common opponent to Bama we beat on a neutral field handedly and they lost at home. ND doesn’t have a quality win but 2 quality losses so they should be in?!?! Makes no sense. They clearly just don’t want to admit that they want Texas in but they won’t give it to them because they have 3 losses.
  2. I hear what you’re saying but we also get revenue from other SEC teams in the playoff or bowls and that money would not go to us if we decided to go this route. Again, don’t hate the idea, I’d actually prefer to do more like basketball with an expanded playoff to 16 or 20 and an NIT type tournament for the remaining 20 teams outside of the top 16 or 20.
  3. I don’t hate the idea but agree that logistically it doesn’t make a lot of sense and we wouldn’t get tv revenue because no network would air the game. I think we go into the citrus bowl with the narrative that we’re treating this like a scrimmage or NFL preseason game and our primary goal is to get guys playing experience and not to play our starters and risk major injury for a meaningless bowl game. Would love to see what Caldwell and the 3 freshman receivers can do on offense and what our young guns look like on defense.
  4. Different conference so Franklin has an easier path. Would love to see him win a natty before the PSU make the playoff again haha.
  5. I’m guessing Jimmy Sexton doesn’t rep him haha. Failing forward is better than what Florida, Arkansas, and Auburn have done IMO.
  6. We’ll see how he does at a place where he’s expected to win and win quickly versus ISU.
  7. Doubtful, these bowls have contracts with conferences so they know the no. X team from SEC plays the no. X team from big 10 etc. The bowls very seldom get to select the teams especially big schools.
  8. Interesting not sure that’s gonna work out given he’s had 4 stops in like what the last 4-5 years? Who do the buffs have, do they even have players on their roster or has prime cut them all?
  9. Get out of here with that. With that logic tOSU wouldn’t have won the natty last year and we’re asking computers and humans to get the top 2-4 right? Do you not remember 2008?
  10. Right so when bama loses to Georgia they’re out and we’re in right? Now it’s even and their losses are worse than ours.
  11. At this point let’s just expand the field to 32 and do away with conference championship games. Have the first 2 rounds at home then the last 3 on the road. Add another bye week for teams and let the chips fall where they may. Or adopt the same playoff structure the rest of the leagues below D-1a have been doing including high school. Let’s stop acting like D-1a is so exclusively different than other levels of football. The Miami ND thing is baffling to me how they can rank a team that far behind another with the same record and a head to head win is beyond me. When FSU got left out in 23 I thought it was wrong, even though I agree it wouldn’t have been as competitive a game against Michigan. Same with UGA in 23, Alabama last year, is this year, us in 2008, etc. There seems to be a willful disregard for logic and sense in major college football and it’s been broken for years. It’s so much better now, but you’re still considering G5 schools who have lost their coaches with a better shot to get in than a Texas or Miami. It’s absurd, absurd for the other teams in the playoffs that have to play real competition the first round, absurd for the schools left out, and absurd for the schools that are in. The G5 kids are the ones the worthless NCAA is referring to in their propaganda-mercials about “most of us go pro in something other than sports.” Stop feeds me dog poop 💩 and telling me it’s filet mignon. UGH, phew rant over
  12. Nor should he, how great the glory before the fall?!?! Remember when he was the hottest coach in America? 3 seasons later, bye ✌️
  13. I was mainly focused on them using this as any type of persecution of Christians no matter what denomination. It is an insult to any faith that is actually experiencing persecution in the world. It’s especially rich coming from a Mormon school. Which as you have correctly pointed out is not routinely recognized as a part of Christianity.
  14. This is “persecuting Christians”? Come on man!! They just lost all credibility and are now out of contention for that statement.
  15. PSU loves hydration charts and arrogant d-bags that shame their players. It’s a perfect fit!!
  16. So when BYU Gets smoked by tech we’re in with Miami? Wait we have stupid UVA, Duke, and some G5er to accommodate
  17. Come on overreaction!!! Let’s just get rid of BYU and Utah and the G5 and ACC “champ” autobid crap and we’re in. Miami might chirp but they don’t really have a deep fan base like Texas nationally that would travel or make as much noise. Vandy knows they’re at risk because they lost to us. Honestly I’d rather see Miami get in over ND and keep them out and us in. ND losing to ATM and us beating them plus SOS and playing in a difficult conference should negate the ND argument. I know it won’t, but it should.
  18. Do we need a WR1 given how deep we are in that room or would the money be better spent elsewhere like OL or LB?
  19. That’s hard to do!! SAS is a clown amongst clowns
  20. I agree with you especially in the receiving room and because Sark expect so much from his receivers. Not many Mitchell’s or Goldens out there that aren’t already playing for us!
  21. Preseason #1 for 2026 😜let’s ride again
  22. Agree, then we’ll see the spectacular fireworks when he bails on them the night of the national championship game to jump to the NFL. It’s going to be glorious.
  23. Liona Lefau needs to flex with Nansen that Hawaiian hospitality nd get him here!!
  24. At least it’s easy for him to make the argument with all the quality data he has! He’s not just out there trying to drum up support for a mediocre schedule. He has legitimate points that could have long lasting implications on college football. Imagine if basketball did the same format? It would be a mess too and you’d get zero quality games early in the season like a Texas UVA or Kentucky Duke. Instead you’d have a bunch of sacrificial lambs until conference play happened and no real idea how good teams actually are for the viewer or more importantly the players themselves.
