    Agree to disagree, what happened after is relevant given that we didn’t actually have to get rid of him. He had some tough seasons but was definitely better than what we landed with after the fiasco. Put yourself in Mack’s situation. Your new boss is going behind your back to poach a competitor that you feel “stole” your big deal. Then giving you the “option” to bow out gracefully and resign or get fired from a job you literally brought back into relevance. Oh and you get to do this within a few weeks because we’ve got your big replacement on the hook (we think). Was there a let down after 09, absolutely! Was it bad enough to justify what happened? Not in my opinion, but we can disagree, and still give Mack his props for what he did for Texas!

    Not my memory of it. He deserved not to have them under cut him and try to hire Saban from Bama (which was unlikely to actually happen IMO). Instead, we looked like idiots, disrespecting a coach that brought us back from mediocrity, won one national championship and would’ve won another if Colt doesn’t get hurt. So instead of Saban, we lost Mack and pissed him off, and landed Charlie Strong. Patterson was a disgrace and the way everything was handled is on him.

    Yeah…I’m sure they’ve got a gameplan just for them to expose our defense and score 100 at home. Their o-line is basically a pro unit right 😂? They’ve seen better like last week, that’s why Auburn is unde…feat…I can’t even! , lol! I’m glad they’re confident. I call it hubris, but that’s too big a word for TAMU.

    Is Mizzou finally not ranked?!?! They’re not as bad as Michigan, but that was not the top 10 win at home the Aggies thought it was at the time.

    Snooking like Sark just wants to cool play and be complimentary of TAMU, like hiding out in a grave yard then pulling a coup d’etat on them!! Same with Quinn downplay his health and really prep and plan the whole team if Arch has to play. Sark isn’t going to put a win at risk for Quinn’s pride IMO.

    No problem, we haven’t played anyone except Georgia and we got beat. Remember how they beat Arkansas by 10 in Fayetteville not by 4 on neutral site game? Plus LSU has a recognizable name and isn’t a complete dumpster fire now. Plus put up 49 against Florida right or was it 33? Texas is overrated and TAMU is way better just played a tougher schedule especially in the SEC. That NMS game was rough last week. They almost scored enough points on offense, 38, to cover the spread, 39. Auburn is a tough place to play. That’s why they haven’t won a game there all season until tonight. They’ll still beat TU though because Texas’ D hasn’t faced an offense like theirs or Defense like their front 7…

    Quinn looked good in the first half. We were all commenting in the stands how well he played. He had a couple of drops the one to Golden on the second drive really hurt us. On this deep balls he was a little late on the throw to Wingo on 3rd and long (DPI not called) and late on the ball to bond (DPI not called). That’s been his problem with the deep shot is he’s not anticipating and throwing guys open he’s waiting until they come open but giving too much recovery time to the defensive back. That’s ok though he doesn’t have to be a master at everything. The dude had great throws/plays on the 2 tds to Helm and played a gritty tough 2nd half after getting hurt and playing on one leg and still was 3/5. Oh AND we won by 17!! Hook’em

    Don’t like this one at all! I’d hedge and take the Ags at 7.5 if I wasn’t emotionally invested lol. The vitriol from TAMU and that night game crowd will be worth 3.5 points IMO

    45-10 Texas. I think we turn them over and get rolling at home. Quinn leaves a big winner and gets a standing O coming off the field in the mid-3rd quarter!

    Just win baby! We lost to a very motivated Georgia team and had our worst game in 2 years offensively. The haters are gonna hate but we can’t help that the teams that were supposed to be good on our schedule were horrible this year. When was there ever a time that you have Michigan, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Florida on your schedule and go 3-1 against them out scoring them by a combined 129-63 and have a “soft” schedule?!?! It is what it is, but if we win we can just shut all those doubters up!
